You can always withdraw your application if the tide seems high...

editorAA:
For all I know, Egypt embassy has not been helpful for once especially when it comes intermediate embassy as a result of school admission.
I know a friend whose passport was held for 2 months without any further process. Why didn't they try Turkey or India? India as well isn't reliable these days.

Yes. For Tallinn university, they accept C6 as minimum while taltech accept C4 as minimum

C4 in what subjects ?

This isn't an issue....if your passport expiration period is 6 months and above, extension can only be done in Abuja but if it is less than 6 months say about 5 months, then you can do it anywhere. The new passport will have your old passport number. I did the same last year and I have not had any issue with that. Just make sure you glue your old one with the new one anywhere you wana go.

I hope this helps.

In my case, I renewed mine but immigration officer in Nigeria requested for the old one and they stamped all the empty spaces with " CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE* please, is there any implications of this stamp while applying for visa? This is so disturbing. Thanks for your response

C4 in what subjects ?

In all the 5 subjects you will be judged with. For instance a science student who sat for Eng, math, chem ,phy and bio must have a minimum of C4 in all these subjects nut Tallinn University accepts a minimum of C6 in the five subjects I mentioned. That is for a science student oooo

It was the wrong words to be used but generally it means the passport has been voided and cannot be used....it is not an issue at all but just make sure you always have it with you anywhere the second one goes..better still glue both together with the new one in the front while the old one at the back..

I hope it helps.

I have few friends that moved to Estonia 2 years ago and also last year. They all used Egypt, but some are saying they find it difficult to get visa to Egypt these days, so I will be adding Turkey, India and Russia to my list. When the time comes we will all look out for a way to make it to Estonia. I applied to University of Tartu so I'm waiting for their admission offer by first week of May. Let's pray we get the admission, I believe we will all be victorious in our visa applications.Cheers

Yeah, Egypt is better and AFCON should be a very good opportunity to use. However, when it is time I will try and contact some guys in Estonia, maybe they might have better route to get the visa very fast and cheap. We will all be on lookout for information on getting visa to Estonia.

tunsjimmy what is the requirement for student visa, how to get the visa, cost of living and so on pls
The requirements for student visa are normal requirements such as visa fee, visa application, hotel reservation and flight reservation, bank statements of your sponsor etc ( Note: you will need to travel to either Egypt, India, Russia, Turkey or Israel depending on the one that is easy to get the visa. Therefore, there is cost for the flight to that country and the hotel you will stay for you to get your Schengen visa). However, it is important to know that there is no Estonian embassy in Nigeria, the nearest to us is in Egypt and from what I learnt from my friends, it is better you use visa agent when applying to Egypt in order to get your visa very fast. The estimated cost of living in Estonia is around €300/months but depending on student lifestyle. But don't worry yourself too much about the cost of living as you will be able to get work and cover that after you start your study. Cheers

The cost of study in Estonia depends on your school, your course and if you are getting tution fee waiver, monthly stipend and student lifestyle. For the requirements and school fees please visit: https://estonia.dreamapply.com. From there you can get answers to all your questions. Cheers

Yeah there is hope. Follow your dream and you will be on your way to Estonia. Depend on the course you want to pursue, 2nd class lower will not be a barrier with a strong motivational letter and other requirements of the course. Though some courses are very competitive, look for more than one courses that are related to your first degree. Cheers

I need someone to assist with my question oooo.

Is there any chance of securing a part time job while still schooling?
What is the cost of accommodation generally for a single room/studio.
Is it possible to apply for the visa with my spouse?

Yes there are jobs and you are also allow to work. The accommodation in the school dormitory is around €100/month if I can recollect. The money from your hustle should sustain you for your living cost. I'm not sure if you can apply for visa with your spouse, except she is also going for study too. Cheers
