Is anyone receiving chatting notifications (whatsapp, fb etc) without opening the app

Is anyone display light not going off during calls? Unless a restart before sensor functions and after some calls, stops working

Pie is overrated,... Google is trying hard to limit third party apps on Android with every update. Third party Call recording, Keyboard apps non-functional.

Honestly. The UI is the one that's paining me send. Very ugly. Any chance of going back to an older version?

Gesture navigation, multitasking style, digital wellbeing, etc makes me like pie!!!
The only bug I've noticed do far is That Gboard keeps typing nonsense sometimes, I'll switch to grammarly keyboard...

Yeah the procedure is plenty.
You have too root the phone, install custom recovery and then download and install a custom ROM using custom recovery. And the procedure is very tedious.

Not so much. Just a little. I guess we'll just have to wait for a new and better update.

Btw, this pie has been released by Google since August 2018. I wonder why we're just getting it. Seems it'll take a long time before we get the next update, after Google releases it.

I absolutely hate it. The fonts is annoying. The drop-down menu even with the blue colour is not finer than the drop-down menu in Oreo. The home button and back button doesn't look any better than before. Split-screen is gone. Looking at the home screen, they shifted the time from the right to the left

The clock that's meant to be big and bold in the middle of the home screen disappeared.

The entire UI is just annoying.
It's high time Android or Google give us an option of returning to a previous version if we're not satisfied with an upgrade or they give us a thorough preview (video) of what the new version and UI would be like.

I don't want to be looking at my phone and feeling depressed. The one that's paining me is that I don't know how long before another upgrade comes and if it will address these concerns

Back up your file and reset to factory setting(total wipe) Sometimes it is recommended after main update(version update in particular).

They have good customer service representative on their app.so if we all complain, I think they'll come with an upgrade patch for the fix, the new features are good, but I experienced a bug, and that's for the battery calibration. My phone goes off @ 7 percent, and sometimes it doesn't charge fast. Split screen is gone , but I think I love the UI for my Nokia 3.1 is looking more colourful and fluid. Also the quick assistant button is nice, but they've removed so much feature from the Oreo and it's bad. For better performance I suggest u format your phone. I've not formatted mine cuz I can't back up my stuff yet. But I suggest I format it .the name of the app is My phone (for nokia)

HMD Global should just provide unlock keys to root these devices. I don't understand their problem.

No, the pie still has split screen, tap the minimize button then tap the app icon you will see option for split screen

I don't understand what you all are complaining about, i love the � pie update oh!, The only downside is app getting closed when not in use for long (that's poor ram management) aside that the pie is great and i love the Gboard, i love it translate feature and lastly the battery pretty much good i get over 9 hours and am a heavy phone user (asin i dey dey on my phone 24 hours).. I can't wait for Android 10.. PROUDLY A NOKIA X5 USER

split screen is still dere just click on the app icon in when multitasking.... You'll see split screen

i only experience the Notification thing.
Screenshot the list of apps u have if you can

It must be an app you downloaded that is causing this issues not the update
