Please I'm back again o!

Families with young children please how did you cope during your first weeks when you had to meet up with settlement appointments, etc?

Were you setting up separate appointments so one person could stay home babysitting? Or are tots welcome to settlement appointments? Or any other ideas or strategies you used...

Thanks in advance.
Please interested in this question. Any one with the experience should help out please.

I got an answer offline that you're even expected to be with your tot(s) at the first settlement appointments. ie the appointment to register with the settlement agency.

Edit: I finally went with my baby. It's not like you're expected to be with the children, if you have someone to leave them with you can do so. However it is very acceptable to go with the children.

What are the chances of employment and sustainablity for someone with a PhD degree in engineering, with some years of experience in industry and academia.

Thanks as you respond

goods to follow List not requested, they have a copy but hold it for holding sake, I paid 92 dollars to claim my 141kg... Hold the list that your cargo agent have you ( a red paper in my case ) your debit/credit card, another paper was given to me at Toronto by customs , your passport, your copr....just hold them cos you can't be sure what they will ask for...and Uber man go bill you extra money besides the normal Uber fees(cash payment)

GETTING AN ACCOMMODATION IN BC UPON ARRIVAL?

We can help!
Don't waste money on an interim accomodation. No need to worry about an employement or previous landlord reference (major challenges faced by new residents). Move into your own home upon arrival into Canada's warmest province.

SERVICE
*Accomodation to your taste
*Basic or extensive Furnishing with or without home decor (if you desire)
*Airport pick-ups
*Stocking your pantry with enough foodstuff till you settle in
*Chaperoning the first few days upon arrival

Waste no time, whatsapp +17787731858 or +2348027060236

Great!

I wish there was something similar for Mississauga. I was up all night trying to sort out Airbnb booking. I aready made a booking but I think I made a hasty decision so I'll be cancelling. I really wish there was someone to help with getting rented accomodation and the likes.

Don't be funny. A small class in UNIBEN has ~150 students. That's just one class, as per maybe 200 level. Multiply by 4 for all levels. Then by 8 for the department. And then 20 for faculty. Then by another 12 for all faculties/schools...

Then add part-time, post grad students. Then add those who aren't really students but just live in/around school and attend classes/hang around.

We're not yet talking of children of staff, students in the staff school, vendors who live in/around school to cater to student's needs...

As per the last time, total students equal a small number above 70,000
