Recession happened to them.

They started costing 100k+ which isn't a price range that's friendly to their target audience.

Hence both series where replaced by Camon and Note series as the main devices for both respectively.

The Camon is not a replacement for the Camon. I'm sure Tecno are cooking up something.

To me the phantom series is an exclusive phone which can stand out with the like of other executives phones.

It wasn't discontinued and you should expect a Phantom before the end of the year.
