Good.

Consumers can lay their complains to the panel.

Simple solutions for light:

1. Meter everyone. If not...
2. If you can't meter everyone at the moment, then read the analogue meter as was obtainable back then.
3. Those without meter should be billed heavily to make them get meters (analogue or digital).

And for crying out loud, stop crazy bills angry.
So this people will go and steal meter abi??

Are you sure u have stopped taking that weed?

Have you seen someone who does not want meter before?

They should be billed heavily because there are meters in Agege market and they refused or choose not to buy

3. Those without meter are going to buy one at Aswani market and install by themselves abi?
They should request for it. Most people don't because they are using more than they are paying.

Imagine an occupant of 1 room in a public using 3 electric cookers and paying less than a thousand bucks per month?

I've not stopped. Just changed the supplier.

Do you know how DISCOS share the bills? Have you investigated?

We can have a sane conversation devoid of insults if you want to.

They are still imposing more thieves on us. The only news I crave for is that we should not pay any bill until we get prepaid metres

They don't need to request. That is left to the Discos to decide.

So they should use the light without paying? Because the Discos did not meter them or what? Please enlighten me.

Not they shouldn't use ligth without paying. Since they(Discos) connected the users to their service, they are expected to install a measure device to charge them.

Why I am actually on this matter is this...

My new apartment I just rented, it's a Virgin Building (New House) I was there when the IKEDC came to link the building to a feeding pole. The ligth go directly to our flats. If IKEDC wants to collect their money, they should also come install meter for us. We (occupants) we're even expecting Prepaid meter but even Archaic meter, we didn't see.

Now they started bringing exorbitant estimated bills. The first month (N7000 for 3 Flats), we paid. The following month was N9000. Not like the ligth is even available 12hrs a day through the month. How was the bill calculatedhuh Are we to provide Meter ourselves? Shouldn't they provide means to read what we use?

Every service rendering coy is ready to extort users if gotten the chance.

It's like saying MTN charging N100 for a 5 seconds call now and N150 for the next 8 seconds call. Wouldn't you ask how they actually bill in seconds.

Ikeja Electric is one of the worst private organizations in Nigeria.

Electricity supply:

Horrible (Below Expectation)

Billing :
Horrible (Prefers estimated billing, refuses to install meter/commission meters)- their officials will rather come n demand kickbacks

Break fix duration

Terrible (Takes them forever to even identify that something has gone down. You need to call n tell them)

Customer Service:
Extremely horrible (the customer service people try to be nice- but customer service is not just about telling me "our engineers are on it" or " we will look into it" . Its about resolving issues. These ladies that pick up your phone speak good english and have sweet voices but thats where it ends, they are not empowered to to resolve anything, so you end up just wasting your time and call credit- and they never call u back to give any feedback. This is typical of a public institution but we expect much better private organization
