I have followed European politics since the last 5 years and I see a lot of cooperation among EU member States on virtually all issues even those that you wouldn't even consider here. From Energy, to containing Russia, Military, trade with China and rest of the world, telecommunications, internet regulations, values, debt , culture, immigration e.t.c.
