your mileage is over 150,000miles, catalyst is old/ageing it was not designed to last forever. Replace it and have a look at air pump on the intake line, it seems to be malfunctioning.

So I've replaced the Catalytic converter. Cleared the code.

2 days later, Check Engine light returned. cry cry.

Threw a P0420 again. Tried one of those fuel cleaner things and the light stayed out for a week or so.

I don't think the catalyst is the problem.

Anyway, the attached pictures are what the scanner is showing now.


NB: there's a check engine light now, but no error codes showing up

Sir what could be the cause of my sienna 98 not moving over 3000 rpm, when throtle more it moves upto 4000rpm but drop back to 3000. Though the car moves fine but want to hit 140/160km

My boss's in the house, i need ur help. I bought almera tino tokunbo some 6 mnths ago. It ws working fine until recently wen it started chopping oil feraciously. It produces some little white flames in the mrning if i had started it for days, bt wen i use it everyday no flame wil come out. Wen scan, it says both
02 sensors. Pls, does d oil drain means d rings is weak or what? Some1 talked abt "egr valve". He said, carbon build up in d egr valve can cause flames &oil consumptn. Pls help.

Hello house! Need help with a reliable rewire technician. Reason: I called in an air con. repair man to help fill gas in my car ac (Honda cr-v 2004). He had issues initially because my compressor could not 'pick', so he had to by-pass the compressor power source by connecting a wire directly from my car battery and the compressor picked, which enabled him to fill the refrigerant. However, he said for me to be able to use the ac I need to look for a rewire tech person to help trace why my compressor isn't receiving power because according to him there are some loose wires that need connecting. Thanks in advance.

Ok now I'm really confused.

Car AC works really well. Cold room level of cooling.

On Wednesday I drove car somewhere, AC was working.

Had to park in that really crazy sun for hours.


When I got back to car, AC did not cool again. Blowing well though, but warm air. Thought the heat had something to do with it.

Wednesday Evening, on the drive home, it still didn't cool

Thursday morning, 5:30A.M. ish everywhere was cool. It still didn't cool. Same in the evening.

Same on Friday.

At this point I'm assuming there's a leak and no gas in system, etc etc.

Saturday morning, started car, and just tried it again.

It's started cooling. Cooling so well the windows are fogged up and wet on the outside




Please what could be going on?

Plug in pressure gauges, check for blockages/excess refrigerant. What car is this by the way? Is the system clean?

I don't know if the system is clean or dirty. How would I know?

Ok, you are good. If pressure gauges checked out, electrical trouble shooting may have to be done.

since you have refrigerant, you might want to replace your ac air filter. It could be clogged up.

Good afternoon,
I've been having this issue with my Toyota Camry 2009 2AZ-FE for a while now.
Driving without using AC feels smooth but once I switch on the AC and at a stop, car vibrates if I change gear to neutral or park vibration reduces if I switch the gear back to drive, vibration continues.

Help needed here please.
I'm tired of this issue.
