Hello please does anyone know if there's any restriction? Is a Dubai Visa required for Nigerian passport holder with US Immigrant Visa, traveling to the United States with connecting flight in Dubai? The ticket has a 4 to 5 hours layover in Dubai, flight route is Lagos - Dubai - US Thanks in anticipation |

Vindari:You don't need a Dubai visa, you are just on a transit to the US and a pretty short one. Enjoy your short stay at DXB |

Vindari:Hello sis. NO, you won't need a Dubai/UAE Visa since you are just on a transit to the USA. The American 'point' at Dubai Airport will check the passport/Visa and stamped it and you are good to go from there after asking one or 2 simple questions. Hubby will only have to wait at the airport for 4 to 5 hours till they announce his connecting flight. It will be on many electronic boards at the airport also (about when the flight will be ready and they will also anounce it on the airport speaker. You will meet many people waiting for the same flight as well. So happy everything went well for you and hubby at last! ![]() All the best for the future. And we will talk about the POE (point of entry) when he gets to the states also later, i.e by the BP (Border Patrol).....the very very last step of all your journey about travelling! CONGRATULATIONS sis! ![]() |
