you think you've made sense but let me tell you, you are senseless. Your mentality is shallow and evil. What do you mean no man's land mentality? for example, How do riding a car in a country where a particular citizen can't afford it a crime? why are the police there or do police abroad spare you of criminality because you an immigrant that would make the citizens go wild on you. Why is it only South Africans that display this xenophobic rubbish or do you see this thread as an opportunity to vent the igbophobia tendencies in you. Nigerians are allover the world, how many have you heard the citizens of the country they migrated to attacked and loot their business? What should be condemned here is it the xenophobic attitude of South Africans or the no man's land mentality
Typical shallow chestbeating wailer..... offer better solution to your country men's constant murder rather than wail. Respect other people's territory and understand there's no man's land except Amazon forest....... silly punks

Nigerians/ Ipobians should respect themselves in other peoples territory, be a good resedent and integrate peacefully, all this no man's land mentality and December / Xmas hustle for village show off brings about strong hate

Monkey. And fools like you will still be shouting One Nigeria. Nigerians are being attacked in South Africa and you are gloating over it because you think the victims are Igbo. If you are literate enough to read and understand, you can observe that the leader of the Nigerian Union is Yoruba. Some of the victims could be from your tribe actually. Stupid characters all over the place.

Calling you an idiot would be very idiotic to idiot. Look at the simple question i asked you and your saying nonsense. Respect another man's land as in what? The Chinese guy that broke a Nigerian's spinal cord with a martial kick here in Nigeria, what has Nigerians done to Chinese guys? The Lebanese guys that treats you as filth in your own country, have you thought about protesting it not to talk of beating and looting their shops? Your hypocrisy will get you severely punished one day by other hypocrites

Relatives and friends of 21 Nigerians in Indonesia who have been condemned to death, have marched to the Indonesia Embassy in Lagos to protest the death of the condemned Nigerians. According to them, about 2008 Nigerians have been killed so far in Indonesia and 21 are about to be executed too. They urged the Federal Government to intervene urgently to save the lives of their loved ones, adding that any delay to act could be dangerous.

4 IGBO drug dealers executed by firing squad recently:
1, Martin Anderson - an IGBO who had traveled to Indonesia on fake Ghana passport and incorrectly.identified as Ghanian.
2, Okwudili Oyatanze
3, Silvester Obiekwe Nwolise
4, Stephanus Jamiu Owolabi (He apprently used a mixed IGBO and Yoruba name on a fake ID, also had a fake EU passport with Raheem Agbaje.

Just confirmed, the Next batch of IGBO people to be executed by firing squad in Indonesia soon:

Kingsley Okonkwo
Michael Titus Igwe
Izuchukwu Ezioha
Ekperedike S. Olekama
Adam Wilson
Hilary K. Chinezie
Eugene Ape
Humprey Ejike
Okwudil Ayotaeze
Obinna Nwajiagu
Fredrick Luther ( Benjamin Obiora)
Sylvester Nwaolisa
Dennis Anumora
Ikenna Ezenweukwe.
Gabriel Nnadi - died in prison

Apart from the ones on death row, about 2008 IGBOS (excluding the ones killed recently) are said to have been executed in Indonesia since IGBOS started the DRUG trade there decades ago.

A death row filipino lady, Mary Jane Veloso whose case is causing international outcry was said to be a mule used by IGBO people, Donna Uche and Samuel EzeKalu.

According to Thai, Vietnam, Cambodian, Chinese, Malaysian, Indonesian police, Igbo people bearing Nigerian passports are a major source of drug trafficking in Asia and are now using local girls as mules to ferry drugs abroad. Nigerian passport holders are the subject of serious scrutiny and abuse by Asian police as a result of IGBO drug dealers and human traffickers. IGBO people are apparently single handedly making it impossible for Nigerians to holiday, travel freely and conduct business due to IGBO activities.

Not surprised that this "incident" is only reported in Nigerian media & yet no word of it anywhere else.
A simple Google search on where this supposedly took place, would provide a lot of information.

While doing that, you can also take a good look at this article below. Toodles kiss grin

Ikechukwu Anyene
HOT SEAT
Nigerians in S’Africa are being killed for exposing drug dealers –Anyene, President, NUSA
Published
August 12, 2017
In this interview with GBENRO ADEOYE, the President, Nigerian Union South Africa, Mr. Ikechukwu Anyene, speaks on drug trade and crimes among Nigerians in the Rainbow nation

Did you hear about the shooting at a Catholic church in Anambra State, where 13 persons were killed and about 27 others injured?

I heard about the terrible incident; we have not experienced this kind of thing before in a church. Yes, we heard about it.

The perpetrators of the act were allegedly looking for one Aloysius Ikegwuonu, aka Bishop, a suspected drug lord in South Africa, who allegedly swindled some people out of a lot of money. Do you know him in South Africa?

First, government officials and law enforcement agents should make fewer statements and do more investigations. I am aware that there have been series of killings suspected to be linked to an issue between some Nigerians here and it has been going on for about two years. We also heard that most of the people that have been killed are from Ozobulu in Anambra State, where the incident occurred. But we didn’t get involved in the matter because as a Nigerian union, we don’t get involved in resolving such matters, especially matters that have to do with drugs, crime and so on. But we heard that Ozobulu town unions in South Africa had tried to resolve the issue and had even taken it down to their village in Nigeria. I think their traditional leader was involved at a point, but it didn’t yield any result because the killings continued. It is just unfortunate that it led to the killing of innocent people in the village in Nigeria. This is what we know.

What is the matter about?

There are speculations all over the place but I think the best thing is for the government and the security agencies to do proper investigations. I think a lot of Nigerians have been killed already. There are speculations that it involves two guys in prison and there are also people involved, who are not in prison. There are a lot of speculations. As the Nigerian Union South Africa, when the killings started, we wrote to the High Commission to see what could be done to arrest the situation. I think the commission did its best but the killings continued. It is just unfortunate that it had to go this way.

The killers were reportedly looking for the suspected drug baron, Bishop, who we understand built the church where the incident happened. Has he also given donations to NUSA or other organisations in South Africa?

I am not aware of that. As for the union, he has not done anything (for us).

Do you know him?

I know him facially; if I see, I will recognise him but I don’t know him too well. Even before his picture was being circulated around, I would be able to identify him. But as I said, I don’t know him deeply or have his phone number. I hear more about his property in Nigeria but I don’t know anything about anything he has here. I’m not sure; he may be doing things here without my knowledge, but I don’t know of any here.

You said you could recognise him which means you must have met before. Can you recall your encounter with him? What happened?

I saw him at a function I attended about two years ago. I had been hearing the name – Bishop’. So at the function, someone pointed him out that he was the bishop. So, that was how I was able to recognise him.

Drug peddling is a problem in South Africa. How big is the problem?

Yes, it is a big problem here but it is not a problem that is peculiar to Nigerians. There are drug peddlers from all nations but it is just that Nigerians (involved) make so much noise. I don’t believe that Nigerians are the ones that commit most crimes in South Africa, but it is a problem.

Many people have blamed Igbo people in South Africa for the situation, saying more Igbo are involved in drug business there. What do you think?

There is no census yet of Nigerians in South Africa but it is assumed that Igbo are more in number in the country. But I think it will be a mistake as leaders of the community to narrow the issue of crime to a particular tribe because, at the end of the day, you find out that you see people of all tribes that commit these crimes.

They say it is the Igbo people in South Africa that are giving Nigeria a bad image. Are you not concerned about this as you are also Igbo?

In the cases we have attended to, yes, I agree with you, there have been more Igbo people accused of drug peddling. But you will find out that in such communities also, there are about 90 per cent Igbo people (out of the Nigerians) there. That is how it is here. But we have had problems of crime including drug-related offences involving people of all tribes. Yes, Igbo people are more in South Africa and the majority of the cases we address involve them.

What is your union doing about the situation?

I have spoken to Ohanaeze Ndigbo in South Africa here and engaged them. I have told them to do more. I have spoken to their leaders and also to the leaders of Yoruba community here, to tell them that everyone should do more to help combat crime, whether drug-related or other forms of crime that are soiling the image of our country and our people here.

What we have been doing for some time now is to talk to our communities across South Africa. We call them wards of Nigerian union. What we do is to engage our leaders in those communities and then link them up with local community leaders, who are South Africans. We have been able to arrange for them to work together. We have done it in Kuruman and Klaafontein communities – the two communities, where quit notices were recently issued to Nigerians. We successfully resolved the problem and the quit notices were withdrawn. So we have tried to connect our leaders with local community leaders in these places and many other towns. What we do is to encourage our leaders in the cities and towns to work closely with the communities to fish out the bad elements so that Nigerians that are law abiding are not affected when there are problems. I think it is a successful strategy because it has been working. Among other things we are doing, we have been recommending to the (Nigerian foreign) mission here what can be done to deal with this problem. It is becoming a menace. As people that live in the community, we want to do more to make sure that Nigerians that are not law abiding, if possible, are removed from this society. We started campaigns against drugs and so on two years ago at the national level and some of our wards and provinces have keyed into it and the campaign is getting results. What we do is to work with the local people and the civil society organisations where we live, to fight crime together and it has been working. It has been yielding results.

You said you have spoken to Ohanaeze Ndigbo there and other groups, do you think they have been doing well in tackling the problem going by the drug wars?

It is not easy and you have to also understand that the work we do here is not paid for – it is an unpaid job. The communities spend their time and their money and nobody is paying for that so they do what they can do. We encourage them to help us make sure that the image of Nigeria is improved upon in South Africa. And in NUSA, we don’t see Nigerians in the perspective of Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa or Niger Delta. No! We provide leadership where necessary, so we try to engage the leaders of tribal organisations to help us here and there and they do render some help.

You mentioned that you met Bishop two years ago so it appears that the Nigerian community there knows one another. Why is it that the Nigerian community doesn’t point out those involved in crime to the South African authorities or do you cover up for one another? Don’t you have a system by which the Nigerian community weeds out the bad eggs among them?

Nobody can cover people up, but like I said, regarding some areas where we have worked, we connect our leaders in the communities to local community leaders so that they can work hand in hand to ensure that they combat crime, and not just crimes committed by Nigerians, but also crimes committed by other nationals, including South Africans. Also, the issue of reporting issues is not practicable. I don’t think it is even happening in Nigeria itself and it doesn’t mean that people in Nigeria don’t know criminals. But the issue is that there has to be protection. A lot of people have been threatened and killed for doing certain things in this country, and not just by Nigerians, but in some cases, it even involves the police here. Witnesses have been killed. I can remember two instances where witnesses were killed; they were shot dead and nothing happened. So where there is no proper protection for witnesses or whistle-blowers, you don’t expect people to just snitch on others. I don’t know, people may be doing all they can. But like I said, we are working with the police and also, we cannot go into details of what we do.

Do you know the number of Nigerians that have been killed in this drug war in South Africa in the last two years or so that you said it has been on?

I don’t have the exact number of deaths suspected to be linked to this feud, but it is not less than 10. I am not sure of the exact number, but it is a very serious problem.

What do you think is the solution to solving the problem as we understand that Nigerians now control the drug business in South Africa?

The police have to do more because the place where they sell the drugs is a public place. So, it is surprising that the police have not yet closed down the place. If they are doing what they should be doing, I don’t think that place, where drugs are being sold, will still exist because of all these killings. The place is a notorious place, so it is surprising that things are still happening there. Also, in my opinion, if the people involved in the negotiations, especially in their villages in Nigeria, did all they could have done, maybe the war would not have deteriorated to this level. But I think the matter is purely a security issue for the law enforcement agencies. The ordinary citizens can only assist, the police must lead. There are problems of informants’ identities being leaked here and there, so leaking information about people can be a very dangerous thing to do here. At the end of the day, the issue rests on the law enforcement agents. And now that the (Ozubulu) incident has happened, they should do something about the problem. I think the governor (Willie Obiano) himself said there was a feud between two brothers, so I think since there are people that have information (on the matter), they should do more.

What place in South Africa did you say should be closed down because drugs are being sold there?

The place is called High Rise. They used to call it Sands Hotel; the whole area should be closed down.

XhosaNostra:
Not surprised that this "incident" is only reported in Nigerian media & yet no word of it anywhere else.
A simple Google search on where this supposedly took place, would provide a lot of information.

While doing that, you can also take a good look at this article below. Toodles kiss grin

I see a lot of people complaining that Nigeria this and bad but most of in here are the curse of the problem. The real problem is that no one is taking up responsibilities for the mess up Nigeria is in from the President blaming youths for laziness to the masses blaming each other. At this point in time Nigeria will never catch up with the rest of the world unless everyone in there dies off today and they start afresh ..
