No. I am not a scalper. The trades were opened on Monday and closed on Thursday. I am not supposed to even close it because it hasn't reached my target. I only closed that trade for two reasons;
1) The long term battle ahead between me and the UsdChf position which was also opened on Monday but shows signs of misbehaving.
2) Assume it was a real Account where I eat from, someone who has gone to work from Monday to Friday deserve to eat. So let me use that token pips I got already to eat. Hehehehe.

Does anybody have a strategy that works during fomc? My experience during such events, I noticed price moves 100pips maximum. Please share.

Maybe there might be some silent oil traders sha. I so much loved oil trading too. It has done me well and it has messed me too and its like it is not suitable for my style of trading especially the contract thing.

Still resetting my mindset. I trade mostly 0.01 lot this week. And only Gbpusd. And it's green week again.
Made $92 and $32 on each of my account.

What I learnt..
Low risk no doubt gives one an added advantage in the market.
Focus on less pairs if one is not a full time trader is better.
Price moves in only three ways... Uptrend, down trend and sideways.
The chart is still a financial trader best friend. The news only speed the moves. Irrespective of the news, it will still obey the chart, worse news can do is to retest a support or resistance on a big time frame like weekly and monthly. Or at most, create a false break and correct immediately.
I also learnt not to be rigid. To be sincere to myself.
I reduced my trading pairs again to 3.. EU gu and uj. But I will trade more of gu henceforth. I observed it is moderately volatile which can guarantee some pips for the month. Enough to put food on the table.

You have not done badly bro. It can does get better.
Take the weekend to ask yourself questions as to why did you take those winning trades, the losing trade, and what you can do to repeat the winnings and avoid the losing trades.

Bro when you blew your first deposit, how did you know its time to go live again? I have doubled d amount I intend funding on demo but I my head is telling me not to waste money but my heart is telling me to take the risk. I'm confused.

Thanks Boss for your assessment. But truth be told I didn't do anything different/special. I only followed my trading plan.

Losses are inevitable in forex trading. And my loss with the UsdChf is one that I am glad to accept as the trade has stayed for 5days eating on my account silently through heavy swap. So I was actually looking for a way to close that position so I can continue next week as I don't like leaving positions open into the weekend.

for those guys starting new, use 4hours chart for signal generation & risk ur $$$ as stop loss. if u are risking $10 for example, divide d $10 by ur stop loss & gbam u get ur lot size & even forget placing trade sef . that is d peace

my GU & gold call here were from 4hrs levels & 70 pips stop maximum.

my trade will either break even or hit take profit. D days of just trading buy sell signals ended years ago. I don't even stair at screen anymore. news can go to hell cos my stop loss & leverage take care of dat
