With the evidence in this video, everyone that has access to social media suppose to post it everywhere with bitterness until it reaches the right authority. We should use the social media to help ourself; the guy has done a part by recording the incident. Nigeria media houses are not doing good either; if this incident happened in America, all media houses will report it, and even invite the head of the departiment for verification, until it become a big case. Let us try our best to make sure someone get fired on this issue.

What about the national drivers license. Official price on the internet is 6250 for 3yrs. When you get there, you pay atleast extra 5-10k to fastrack the process.

I did mine in their Abeokuta Office In April 2018. I paid 37k. I collected it 3 weeks after. While a man that got there after me did data capturing the same day before me and collected his passport right in my presence while I was asked to come back after a week to check if it is ready . When I tried to ask question how come the person that came after me collected his passport immediately .,,their response was " Did u pay the amount the man paid."....?

Even here in italy some ppl paid 350euro 145k to 500euro 200k if you met more devil jst to do Nigerian passport. My friend who traveled to nigerian last yr used 50k and get it that the same day. Nigerians immigrazione office are corrupt anywhere.

We all are same, let anyone of us here get a job as an immigration officer and posted to a passport office instead of him or her to condemn his or her colleagues it is to tow the line because of the extra cash to be made, we don't want to make a difference and we all want a better country.

Is it that Nigerian politicians and civil servants have no idea how things are done in well run countries, or do they just prefer to leave a system in place that allows them to hand out “jobs” to their relatives and camp-followers, where these can then impose themselves on the general public?

The simplest way to radically shrink corruption in Nigeria is to simply slash the public sector and eliminate the positions that create opportunities to practice corruption. All the money currently being wasted paying salaries to so many leeches could be diverted to fixing the country’s infrastructure, and in the meantime the handover of most government activities to the private sector would radically improve the quality of the services provided. The same old “fear and punishment” techniques that have always been used in Nigeria will never suffice to do the trick.

The corruption in the Nigeria Immigration Service is so bad that even President Bulgari can not get the passport done at the official price. It's so frustrating. I did mine at Oshogbo last week for 32k and it's not yet out.
