I am hoping to get a safe land as soon as possible or else may goto other states where its favourable. Its expected to last above 15 years in optimum production. This can be a game changer if all things go well.

Expected yields is as fast as 6 months and a tree is expected to produce twice a year. First year projected yields is about 2 tonnes per hectare.

A hectare is expected to host about 1660 trees

If you need safe farmland then our Agro Empire Estate which is over 500acres is best for you. Why is the best best for you? The farm estate is an integrated farm settlement which encompasses crop production livestock production processing centres farm house good road network, technical and advisory center. Etc location is at Abeokuta north Amala village very accessible. 240k, per acre you can contact me via admin@armi.com.ng to request for further information

I have long being a fan of moringa products due to the vast array of wonderful functions it does to the Human body and even to ruminants/broilers.

This topic is created with the mind to see how profitable moringa farming can be interms of the seedlings and the oil aspect. Moringa leafs and its powder market seem to be oversaturated.

The major hindrance to this project is availability of land and herdsmen wahala. Still searching for a place to lease/buy and may have to look elsewhere.

The attached pictures are nursery planted at around 22:00 hours on the 27th of March, 2019. So far, eight have germinated out of ten. I am planting these ones in my house.

The seeds are very expensive at about N250,000 for a 1000 seed quote including custom and transport to Nigeria from India.

A tree is expected to yield about 5kg per year after 2 years. Currently a kg of local moringa seeds is sold at about N1,800-N2,000.

What land type is good for such plant?
Will a matured tree withstand flood water?

I'm yet to know why moringa would produce very much when planted at home but in the farm, the trees will only grow tall with very few pods.

My answer to that will be the level of care (in terms of agric practice) given to each. While i have never visited any major commercial moringa farms, the little farms i know around me basically plant moringa to harvest the leaves as a secondary benefit, the primary being just to demacate and preserve land.
At home, the plants are used almost twice a week (assuming you don't have someone like me in that house who finds a reason to consume at anytime) and there's the benefit of constant watering, mulching and manuring...

The trees around the house grow very big with a lot of branches without a single care. The ones in the farm grow very thin with very few pod. I tried to make them free from weed as much as possible but no improvement

Have you tried applying nutrients to the trees in the farm? Most lands of our homes have high nutrients.

This particular variety is the dwarf type with more self branching. The more the branches, the more the seeds. See this video link for the size

Even those planted in cleared forest in the farm. I'm still trying to figure out what is responsible.

Ahh. . . This one is a strong issue but i may suspect prevalance of a wide range of pests and diseases confined to the farms though much investigation will be needed to prove my suspicion.

But when the same conditions where applied to cashew trees, both the ones in the farm and those at home did very well. The difference is not much.
