with his phd did GEJ sound in charge With all the looting going on then. He even lost as an incumbent. Buhari showed him how it was done even with his failure
Everybody has flaws... is Buhari really in charge now? really? can you compare what you enjoyed then and now? can you insult buhari without being arrest? abeg, admit it that we forked up big time by removing the man.

Now you have stated the obvious and the South have always been the ones who produce this kind of president but why didn't your people allow GEJ continue instead of working with the North to bring in Buhari? Today, we all are suffering for that mistake... Nigeria can not even boast of any tangible progress since 2015.

GEJ was an anomaly. We all gave him a shot in 2011. Southern unity votes for the first time ever! He was too weak to stay in office and had more interests getting drunk and paying everyone to remain.

OBJ effed up. He should have picked Donald Duke to be VP rather than ineffectual guy he thought he could control. Of course both Yaradua and GEJ blew up in his face and we had to correct course after the disaster.

like our phd holder GEJ ba. Pls pls dont annoy me here. When i see pple like yayi, amosun, shetimma and el rufia who suppose get high IQ due to their educational exploits u go weak. Their performances were lame
GEJ isn't intellectually curious. He was put there as a stooge but unfortunately the stooge just opened the entire treasury to remain in power.

I'd like Fashola or Osinbajo to be APC's nominee while an Igbo dude or SS dude, preferably Duke to be PDP's nominee. We need a break from the northern hegemony

fashola is just like luis enrique performed well in barca( lagos is a barca) bt flopped at Roma. Osibanjo also is a mere puppet cannot take control as he was put there by tinubu. Duke is another overhyped thief who went to SDP and could not even win a street. Whether north or south rules the results would be same. So stop killing yaself over it

The OBJ part is also part of what we are suffering today. He wanted someone he could control but I am glad that he too is leaking his wounds

Nobody across the country is motivated to vote for an Igbo presidential candidate. Igbos reputational problem is a major factor.

What is Igbo's real-life reputation? You may butress your points with real events that in your opinion earned them those reputations.

Atiku did not win in SW, the PDP votes reflected local politics e.g. In Oyo people just wanted to get rid of Ajimobi. An Igbo presidential candidate will lose embarrassingly. And come to think of it, who exactly can the Igbos present? Please don't mention Kalu or Obi, please.

Funny you. You forgot how Obi pummelled Osibanjo, SW's starboy, during the debate leaving bruises everywhere? Obi is not even our best hand. So beware!

Right now, anybody can become president except the south west.

If they try to, they will be pulled down by a constellation of forces.

Nobody is looking forward to a Yoruba president anytime soon.
so u mean apc will field an igbo man despite how much u hate apc? or pdp will field an igbo man? what u don't know is that d sw is closer to power than se. do u have any strong n popular politician in se? don't mention rochas n orji oooo. nobody takes power by blackmailing others. I pray apc or pdp field an igbo person as their presidential flag bearer n see how they will loose easily. don't u know an igbo VP even reduced atiku vote in the north? there are some places where atiku didn't put Peter obi picture because an average Hausa man sees an igbo man as d same as nnamdi kanu n so far igbos still follows nnamdi kanu agenda they will never amount to nothing in d political circus of Nigeria

The next pdp southern presidential candidate is going to be igbo.
There is no question about that.

What I am concerned about is claiming that we have no strong men.

Who was osibanjo before he became vice president?

The likes of Peter obi, osita chidoka, Gov Umahi and Co are not strongmen, right?

It is fashola and the lying pastor that are strongmen?

Continue to dey deceive yourself.

do u realize there is something called general acceptability? all those u mentioned as igbo strong men, aside from the east, which other place do people know them? what is their relationship with men from other tribes? I pray pdp fields an igbo man n let's see how they will die a natural death. but d last time I checked u people have apga now, y don't u develop it to a national party like tinubu developed acn to apc? y must it b pdp n apc? if u are as strong as claimed test your strength with apga cos I know pdp will not b that stupid to give igbo ticket cos it means automatic win for the other party. u have to swallow the bitter pill n accept d fact that no igbo person dead or alive is marketable in Nigeria election.

Peter obi is more acceptable than any Yoruba man I can think.

He boosted atiku credibility immeasurably, even though atiku himself has a lot of baggage.
And the campaign and the debate where he publicly destroyed osibanjo , has also helped in selling him for the future.
Gov umahi is also well known as a buhari loyalist, and a good governor.

They may not be acceptable in ogun or ogbomoso, but it doesn't matter.
Other Nigerians will accept them.

i can only accept obi boasting atiku chances if only u stay in d north, do u think the average aboki care about any debate? u think say them watch an? for here in Kano they will tell u "naghashi de mu atashi ofe anka nadi re"meaning there's no difference between a gun n a sword. n that's d same way they see obi n nnamdi kanu but u online warriors don't know anything. let them remove rigging, buhari will still win atiku in d north

My happiness is that those who arrogantly boasted that they have a winning power block alliance and that the North will never rule again, and that a gworo chewing Fulani Muslim will never smell the Presidency of Nigeria, have now become the slaves to ensure the very rule of the "uncircumcised philistines".

Very sweet humble pie.

I wonder why Ibos are queuing behind a born to rule, gworro ghewing and struggling to be Fulani slaves

Yoruba should shun this greed and covetuous tendency and rally round an igbo presidency. I assure u,there is no other alternative to this in ensuring equity and strong unity and trust in the south,...and by extension, moving the country foward. In the past 20years of this democracy, they have ruled as president for 8years and 4years as vice president,..southsouth 6years presidency,2years vice presidency. Southeast,no presidency,no vice presidency. Common sense should direct us on the path to follow to progress. Except we dont really want to progress as a nation

Has anyone stopped Igbos from competing for the presidential ticket of the PDP that they support with 98% of votes cast?

The problem with the Igbo is that they are suffering from mental slavery.

A slave knows his place, he is to do only the bidding of the master and to rejoice at the crumbs that drop from the master's table.
I really pity Igbos slaving their lives away in PDP. Right now, an Ijaw man is much more valuable than an Igbo man in politics due to the slavish attitude of Igbo PDP.

The SouthEast is at the bottom of the pecking order as far as Nigerian politics is concerned.
