This throwback would have made sense if we were currently enjoying steady power supply all over the country. We would all be happy and everyone would sit back and reminisce those bleak moments in our history. But now look at it. From 1970 to 2019 and Nigeria has never had uninterupted electricity. Are we going forward or backward as a nation? My father shouted up NEPA as a child, I also grew up doing the same. Is this how the trend will continue? Now tell me how a country with vast human and natural resources, a country with so much potential lack the most basic amenity. Is power generation rocket science? Any serious government will fix power supply in its first tenure. But what do we have here? A bunch of thieves, liars, no-brainers and incompetent fools at the very helm of affairs.
