ALAT by wema has so much disappoint me! i transferred all my whole cash to the said bank after all i wasn't able to make any transaction both online and ATM machine, i sent to their customer care there wasn't no any response at all. had i know i couldn't have use ALAT ! am tired. |

Signed up for ALAT when it was launched and till today I’ve never had any issues with the bank; save for network and server downtime and app upgrades. The bank has comfortably handled in excess of 3m of my personal funds without issues. I’m sure you haven’t uploaded all the documents they’ve asked for that’s why you have issues. Or you have deposited funds past the limit allowed for your account. And alat customer care is one of the best in the country. It’s so good that your problem can get solved from IG 7 Likes |

Femiali: Guy stop ranting rubbish. I am sure you have not finished the verification or uploading all the required documents. I have been using ALAT since last year and its awesome. Got my ATM card delivered to my house, did all the account opening and verification on my fone and did not have to visit the bank for any thing. My account is fully activated and i use it almost like my main bank account now. 1 Like |

Happened to me too. For over two months I kept regular correspondence with their customer service on social media and via phone calls. What eventually solved it? I went to create a scene at the WEMA bank close to my workplace. My account was activated within the hour. The thing corporate entities fear almost as much as losing money is having a bad public image. To be fair, I have had no issues with the account since then. |

Report it to consumer complaints CBN if you exhausted all avenues to reach them. Such a bank should be closed down. |

I have the same problem with ALAT, I can't withdraw, check balance or transfer using the ATM; they keep telling me to contact my bank. I don complain give them severally sotey me sef don tire. It's been more than 4 months and when and every time I remind them dem go tell me say 'nothing is wrong with your card'. See, it has nothing to do with documents cos I uploaded everything a long time ago. Dem still dey charge me for card maintenance for card way I no fit use do anything at all |
