Earthquake2:Nuri Sahin for instance refused to abide by Brendan Rodgers rules for a start. He had his own idea of how he wants to play. Secondly, I have said playing is not the priority but soaking the knowledge and learning from him. Listing players that did not break into the Liverpool starting eleven does not mean they did not improve or gain from the time under him. I can list a host of players under Mourinho, Klopp and Pellegrini who did not break into the starting eleven. Does that mean they gained nothing in camp? |

kellycute:It seems you have jumped on the bandwagon without knowing where that wagon has come from or is going. I don't know where you got the idea that I am a praise singer for Solanke. I do not rate Solanke as an outstanding player essentially because he has done NOTHING yet. Great potential yes but that's all. However as an out and out striker, a true No. 9 and point man. I rate him far and above KC. Just as would rate Obagoal, Brown Ideye, Tega Abrahams, etc over him, even now possibly Osimhen. Simply because KC is neither a striker or point man what he is we are yet to define. AM, SS, LW, etc nobody seems yo know he hasnt created any definitive unique selling point for himself. |

andrew444:It's disappointing when l went to great lengths to explain the situation at Wolves which became the subject of an FA investigation. With the super agent Mendes control of the club by proxy and the importation of all things Portuguese. Wolves have more Portuguese players than Porto and Benfica. But you have chosen to be blind to that. Solanke is essentially a youth player yet to show his true QUALITY yes he ripped the U20 World cup but it's not enough IMO. However, even with his very limited playing time at Liverpool. Bournemouth payed £20 million for him. In addition he shouldn't be part of the discussion, this is player I have met. He has Zero affinity for anything Nigerian. |

TheGoodJoe:It's very simple two different priorities. One is a team Manager and taking down your player can cost you millions in lost value. Even if you think he is rubbish you will NEVER say that in public. A national team coach will not have the same considerations. I talk from experience what coaches will say in PRIVATE is very different from what thru will say in PUBLIC. |

andrew444:You call that not bad and they got rid of him by packaging him to Turkey retirement league. Well compare that to KC record in Leicester it's actually considerably worse than Slimani record. You have confused yourself with your own argument. Go and take cold pure water to Kool your brain down, "u no deh reason well again " |

komekn:Story story. Coaches talk about their players always. From Mourinho, to Guardiola, to Pellegrini, to Pochettino etc. That is what they do always. It is hard for any interview to take place without the coach talking about a player. Unless you want us to believe every press briefing is fool's paradise, if not, it does not add up. I repeat, the best place to get information about players off matches is from coaches. Finito. |

edi287:Actually, my problem with Rodgers is that I feel he gets sentimental to some players, especially the British ones and I feel that is where his ondoing comes from. If he was a coach who spends more time studying other leagues, especially the South American leagues, with his eye for talent and tactical mind, he would be able to build a formidable side. However, I am more drawn to his tactical acumen. |

Earthquake2:Your question wrongly presented and as such you can not get any value from it. Goals is not the issue but role, it's possible that Balogun could have scored mire goals than Virgil Van Dyke. Would you then say that Balogun is a better defender ❓ Giroud may not score too many goals but he adds to his goals presence and hold up play. Firmino nay nit be the best striker but apart from goals he backtracks and is creative with the addition of link up play. I am sorry your question is unbecoming of some one who should really know a lot more. |

TheGoodJoe:Players and coaches always give the press a version of events that is not always the truth or a view for public consumption. Do you think any player will express his disagreement with his manager in public or a Manager vice versa. You really should know better this is really elementary reasoning and not befitting of someone of your standing. |
