The Senator representing Rivers Southeast District in the National Assembly, Magnus Ngei Abe, has reacted to the judgment of the Supreme Court, which struck out his appeals on the propriety of direct primary elections conducted by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers state.


Abe and other candidates of the Rivers APC had prayed the apex court to make a pronouncement on the primaries for the nomination of party’s candidates for the 2019 general election.

The Senator, in a statement issued by his spokesman, Parry Benson, said that “while we prayed for a more positive outcome, we accept the final position of the Supreme Court in good....

So why did Amaechi refuse to let him be flag bearer of the party in Rivers? Why bring in and impose Tonye Cole from nowhere? Ogoni are not daft, people know who shortchanged them and it is none other than Amaechi the greedy lizard/nylon of Ubima.

Please can you tell me How Amaechi shortchanged the Ogonis? APC picked its Deputy Governorship Candidate from Ogoni.... But a single Ogoni man wanted to become the Governor and he doesn't want another to get it once He can't.
Like I said Magnus Abe's atrocities will surely hunt the Ogoni's for a long time.. Wike will not hand over to Ogoni man and then you will know the repercussion of what Magnus did.

This is not about Amaechi... Will any Political party trust the Ogoni's is the question we need answer to.

Magnus Abe has paid his dues and was better placed to give Wike/PDP a run for their money. It also informs why Abe joined Amaechi in APC to position himself on that platform. Why should Magnus have settled for Deputy governorship when he could have had a shot at the main seat? Amaechi only wanted a puppet he could pull its strings and to have bragging rights of having installed a governor or at least attempted to because APC would have lost anyway but he knew he would not have that with Magnus because Magnus is already a substantial force to reckon with. Amaechi is the greedy one that should be responsible for the failure of the Ogonis to have a fighting chance for the seat of government in Rivers State
