A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to call out a Nigerian airline she accused of dropping it  passengers halfway through flight.

The lady identified as @iamvic3 on twitter alleged that AeroContractors took them on a flight from Abuja to Warri, but ended the flight at Benin Airport, before hiring a car to take them on the rest of the journey by road.

She wrote:

Imagine paying for flight from Abuja to Warri only for AeroContractors to drop you at Benin airport then put you in a car to Warri  Nigeria my country.

But while reacting to the post, a certain commentator mentioned that it is not a new occurrence as he has experienced such too, and it even happened in a developed country. Though he was eventually compensated.

But on a more serious note.. The passengers should be grateful. The plane might be faulty which was why they improvised and devised a strategic alternative. It's kinda awkward but, at least they proffered their 'best' solution to prevent unnecessary loss of lives...

There must be a reason for it. The Osubi airport might be experiencing distress or something.

Probably better than trying to take You there in an unsafe aircraft. As long as they pay compensation.

I won't take that from them.

Why will i pay for a flight to a certain destination and they change their plans in mid of the journey to something else.

The only issue is that its Naija and we think everything about us is wrong won't be surprised if the ticket or boarding pass had those details. If you buy an Emirates ticket to Abu Dhabi, you would be bussed from Dubai. I flew Air France to Brussels, took a closer look at the ticket to realise the Paris to Brussels leg was on a train, had AF flight number and all.
