Twitter Inc has made changes to the number of account to follow in a day.

Previously, Twitter users were able to follow up to a thousand (1,000) accounts, but now Twitter has reduced it to 400 per day. This measure according to Twitter will make the platform more secure.

In July 2018, Twitter place a restriction on some API in order to impede the use of artificial tweet engagement on its platform.

Recall, that in April and June 2018 Twitter announced that it deactivated about 143,000 apps due to several violations.

This latest development is Twitter’s ongoing efforts to get rid of its platform misuse.
