Smith started at Middleweight. He moved to LH probably because that's where he felt was his natural level. Trying to cut weight can be really stressful if you're not a natural middleweight you will always be at war with your body

Naah! Holloway was super green and a boy when they first fought. He had very little wrestling or BJJ skills at that time. He is a full grown man now albeit some few years from his athletic prime. He is going to TKO Porrier in the third or fourth round. Don't be surprise if Holloway is going to look/be the bigger man on fight night.

I hope Adesanya delivers our 2nd Championship belt. I am kinda worried that he might be caught by Gastelum's nasty 1-2 punch combo.

My thoughts on max vs Dustin :

I don't have a dog in that fight ...however I am concerned about the ramifications of who emerges as the winner with regard to the eventual championship fight against khabib . Who has a better chance against khabib ? Respectfully I don't think either of them do . But I'd rather max emerge as the winner.

Gastellum vs Adesanya :

I think we are all underestimating kevin Gastellum , he's a very dangerous individual . Sure he has had his ups and downs, problems with his weight cut and all , but his boxing is very underrated .

I hope Izzy doesn't underestimate Kevin and finds his distance management early . He's definitely in for a scrap with gastellum as two other fighters in Ali alibedaz's management imprint are champions namely : kamaru , and cejudo . There's the extra burst of mental energy from those guys . Kevin will not go away easy .

At least this time Izzy won't have to worry about wrestling practice grappling .

I still think it's too soon as he hasn't fought Jacare or Romero .

But a date with destiny beckons on Sunday morning ...

I think this fight goes to a decision .

This for me is certainly Izzy's most difficult and hardest hitting opponent. I see so much of Bones in Izzy though and I feel like any style you want he can give you. Overall I just feel the reach advantage Izzy has would tell as the fight goes on and Izzy scores the win

Man, max Holloway is a zombie . I think the problem was Dustin's early transition to light weight really showed. Max hasn't built enough muscle and his punches lacked power.

I believe max has to decide to stay at lightweight and come up with a good nutrition plan to bulk up and add muscle . His stamina and chin are stuff of legends .

Perhaps he was waiting for Dustin to tank in the later rounds.

That and the fact that Max isn't used to eating punches from 155ers. We know about his stamina. The guy has one of the best cardios in the UFC. But we don't know about his chin yet. He has not really fought with very good strikers of his own level in the past. He has always been outclassing every opponent in the 145 division. Let him eat a lot of head-rocking punches at 155 then we can decide about his chin.
