Real good news.

Another maximum ruler removed.

People should stop comparing him with PMB. Here there was election, and from primaries to secondary elections, the people elected thugs, tyrants and moneybags. Dont complain for what you used your own money to buy in the market!

Anyway...Africa shall rise again and I pray Nigeria is not left behind!

Sudan President Omar al-Bashir was removed by the military, Omar al-Bashir has been Sudan's President since 1989,he removed by the military. but the protest was started by a Woman. This cannot happen in the current Nigeria, because the ladies prefer to be slay Queens, Youths prefer to be Yahoo Boys and the Govt is ready to open fire in a peaceful protest.

Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria and Omar al-Bashir of Sudan are gone, both were forced to resign by protesting youths. The destiny of any nation lies in the youths, the same cannot be said of Nigeria. The youths of this country have lost it.

The only Two Field Marshals that have been Presidents in Africa;
Idi Amin Dada (RIP)
Omar al-Bashir

The Sudanese government was ready to open fire...and has fired on protesters. Omar Al Bash lost the support of the Army and elements of his secret Police.

Bouteflika....again, Army stopped supporting him. (He also had a stroke 5 years ago...and has been sick since then).

We do not have a sit tight President now, what do we need a useless protest for?

Only Obasanjo could have driven us into this kind of situation

You wait until a motion for constitutional amendment is raised in 2022 to extend the tenure of sitting elected officials. Na that time your eye go clear.

Correct but OBJ is good at eliminating not protest. Look at the case of Abacha, how he was quietly eliminated. The same fate is awaiting Buhari.

Buhari has spent 6 years in office and is out by 2023.

Omar Al bashir has been in power for 30 years.
If you can't stop him now, will you stop him by 2023?
Re: Omar Al-bashir Steps Down As Sudanese President by Iamgrey5(m): 10:06am On Apr 11, 2019
What happens to his case of war crime at the international criminal court now?

He was nearly arrested in Abuja and Pretoria between 2012 to 2014.

For those saying Buhari should resign, let them know that nearly 60% of Nigerians just re approved his mandate for another 4years

Let them know that he hasn't broken any law as he was duly returned by the electorate.

More importantly, Omar bashri has ruled Sudan since 1989, Which is 30 years ago.

Buhari is only doing his second four years term as a democratically elected president.

Buhari is not coming back by 2023.

He is basically ill, the APC is full of ambitious politicans, and the National Assembly is not reliable.

Obasanjo who has more power and influence than Bubu...when he tried thrid term, he lost.

Bubu is retiring.

Algeria and Sudan are different from Nigeria.

Algeria has had a president who spent 20 years in power...and was always changing the laws to give himself extra terms.

Sudan had Omar Al Bashir, who took power in a coup, transformed himself into a civilian president, and also kept himself in power by continued elongation.

Then throw in the fact that the opposition has been divided.

Nigeria?... Since we had democracy come back in 1999...the only leader who has tried tenure elongation is Obasanjo...and we know that he lost out. Even his own supporters refused to back him.

GEJ...if he had won in 2015, would have retired by now.

Buhari has basically indicated that he is going by 2023.

Nigeria is a mess....but when it comes to democracy, we are better than some other countries.

So far so true...

Sisi's case...hmm

The truth is most Egyptians like Sisi....and the opposition is too divided to get rid of him. Plus a large part of the opposition is the Muslim Brotherhood....which most secular, non Muslim and even Muslim egyptians don't like.

Then there is the fact that when Mubarak left, there was a lot of crisis and mishaps. Sisi restored stability.

Of course he is a dictator. But the sad thing is that Egyptians like their strongmen better than democracy.

People are critical of Buhari over the Zamfara killings too....

You need to read Northern media.
And they voted him again or couldn't stockpile arms in mosques (as they did in 2015) ready and willing to kill when he was forced on Nigerians? The deceit is yet to pay off.
