uckennety:In Sudan at least there was harrasment by the Armed forces... They only ceased their harassment over the last few days. Even then, the Sudanese equivalent of our DSS was still active against protesters as at yesterday. |

Same way all the people on the first row were swept away by the Arab Spring. The man on the extreme right was chased away not too long after. https://www.nairaland.com/786694/worlds-infamous-dictators-how-met/2#47211441

SteveOfu:In Nigeria protests are sponsored by some ppl in the opposition, that's why it will never work here. Check this Sudan case, citizens sponsored themselves, they didn't collect money or support the protest based in their ethnicity, it was purely common sense national interest to them. The only protest we had that was close was the subsidy protest but in the end, some ppl jeopardized it and we lost. |

Mrkumareze:Sorry bro, you are wrong simply say that's how to know a country that has not been hijacked, where citizens makes the decision, unlike here in naija you can't protest peacefully without being harassed by the leaders. Take a close look at the crowd in the pix, if they are been shot randomly by security/military men, they won't be able to gather in that large number in protest. |

SteveOfu:What about Abdelfatah el sisi of Egypt, he's also a field marshal |
| Re: Omar Al-bashir Steps Down As Sudanese President by johnie: 12:12pm On Apr 11, 2019 |
ibnlawal:Mubarak was an Air Chief Marshal. The highest rank in the Air Force is marshal of the Air Force (equivalent to Field Marshal) Tantawi who took over from Mubarak and preceeded Morsi was a Field Marshal. He organised elections after the Arab Spring and handed over to Morsi. Same with El Sisi |

Is there any issue Nigerian are united against that will never be subjected to religious or tribal sentiments? |

amaniro:Excellent. Same way African countries have their own system of government n rule themselves. Each country have their own system of government, democracy isn't the best system of government. Sudan have their own system n have been organizing their elections. Meanwhile Nigeria who have been do it 4 year democracy isn't better developed than sudan |
