TheGoodJoe:England football team has achieved more than Nigeria ever did. That's what I want us to stick in our brain. However, before England won the U17 and U20 world cup, most of you here berated the team and termed it weaker than our national team but we saw what happened. They even went as far as underrating England in the world cup. My extract is, you are good at looking down on other teams to make your national team feel good. |

forgiveness:Very well then...let Manu keep using his boys.... The man has already proven to be a genius at unearthing talents, so I'm not worried.. I have no doubt that he can deliver another exciting u-17 team like the one below ![]()

forgiveness:The current team is made up 12 new players 9 players from WAFU. Even if you assume that everyone who failed MRI was supposed to make the team. You still have as many as 7 new players. All the players in the pool take the MRI test. |

forgiveness:Oga park first. Manu Garba was the one who even gave him a chance in the first place. I don't mind the lad being hurt but you have no reason to make this an issue. |

forgiveness:Congrats to England winning the U17 but it has nothing to do with the discussion. You said Lateef will make it into the American side. I said you are right because he will be joining a weaker side. If they were as strong as you want us to believe, you would not expect Lateef to walk into the team. Finito. |

TheGoodJoe:It has because that has always been the pattern you belittle those English Nigeria born players to justify why they should not make the Nigerian team. You believed English teams are weaker than our team but most of you were forced to hide your faces. You are treading the same line. |

BascoVanVeli:And I said Manu had his boys. Giving him chance was to save face. If not, why didn't he take him on the tour to Turkey? |

Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has hinted that some Super Eagles stars will beef up the Nigeria U20 National Team ahead of their trip to Poland for the Fifa U20 World Cup. Although names were not mentioned by the German, the likes of Enyimba duo Ikouwem Udo and Valentine Ozornwafor, who were handed maiden call-ups to the Super Eagles last month, plus Villarreal's Samuel Chukwueze are eligible to represent the Flying Eagles. Rohr also plans to monitor the outstanding Golden Eaglets stars just as the Dutch coach Clemens Westerhof, who promoted Nwankwo Kanu and Victor Ikpeba to the senior national team after they impressed for the youth team. ''It will be interesting to be together with the U23s, they play on the 5th and 9th of June, so we can work together. We must have a good relationship with this team, with my assistant Imama,'' Rohr told the Super Eagles Youtube channel. ''We also have to watch the U20 World Cup which takes place in Poland, starting end of May. Some of our players will be there, so we need a good relationship with everybody even the U17 which is the future. ''I know that my colleague Clemens Westerhof was discovering some big players in the U17 World Cup, like Victor Ikpeba. ''We also have Osimhen, we work for the future even if I am not here. We work for the future of Nigeria''. The Super Eagles are expected to begin their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations preparations in Nigeria before moving camp to a different climate. |

forgiveness:Me Be little English Nigerian born? How? Stop lying. I even used Kelechi Nwakali's case of not making it in Iheanacho's set and later becoming the best in the next one to highlight that Lateef being dropped does not mean he lacks the talent to excel. So how did you come up with such narrative of belittling? |

TheGoodJoe:Which lie? Go back pages then you will find you errors. Besides, 'you' in this context is plural hence not referring only to you. You belittled the English Nigerian born here. That's the bitter truth. |

forgiveness:What is recent statement. You went on your usual accusatory rant. Now you have changed to recent. I can critique but cannot spend my time running down Nigerians. Whether born in Nigeria or not. I genuinely wish them the best. Learn to do that too. |

BascoVanVeli:Under that condition of been dropped from the tour, the boy will receive stimulus that will make him under perform in training. He can never play with confidence because he has been psychological depressed through that single action. The message was clear from the beginning. |

TheGoodJoe:That was a recent comment. What about the previous? You don't even know how to identify a single talent then how can I learn what you can't teach? Very funny. |

forgiveness:What message? He wasn't on the team to begin with the coach brought him on. Nobody is saying he can't play but the coach has a right to his decision. Even Michael Jordan got dropped in secondary school equivalent but that did not stop him from being the greatest of all time. The boy needs to work harder and prove that the coach was wrong. You arguing can never prove that. |

BascoVanVeli:Why bring him in the first place? Dropping Jordan supports the fact that coaches sometimes do make big blunders. |

BascoVanVeli:Let me clear myself. I am not against his drop from the team but I am against the manner and the way they are trying hard to make us believe he didn't measure up in camp hence the drop. I can't buy that. They should have simply said, we just gave him the chance to feel the national team hoping he makes the next one. Chikena. |
