tbaba1234:. Sophia Omidiji is a very good footballer. Apart from that 8:0 thrashing against France where everyone was abysmal due to many of them playing together for the first time, which other chance has she been given to prove herself? That was her first and last match for us. Not fair in my opinion especially now that we need all we can to have a good WC outing. To me,Sophia is our own female Jay Jay. Only that she finishes better. |

Danielnino00:. Oga,he's still a baby. 15 years na still pikin . It's natural to feel sad and frustrated especially if he gave it his all but still didn't make the cut. For those insulting him because of his absolutely natural reaction to the whole thing,y'all should stop. He never asked for special privileges just cos of he's a FB or his skin colour. He fought dearly for a shirt but unfortunately things didn't work out. I know Lateef to an extent and if anything,he sincerely adores this nation with all his heart. Same with his older sister and two little brothers. So guys, take a chill pill already ![]() |

forgiveness:That coach was a nobody first of all but only the future can tell if it was a good or bad decision by Manu. There is no reason to overreact. |

Osimhem and Favour Akem in 2016. Favour Akem failed the MRI test for the 2019 under 17 AFCON.

The boy na pikin na. I’m sure most of the other boys who missed out also cried. These are young boys na. It’s okay for him to cry. They had big dreams of representing Nigeria. Let’s not make it a big issue. He couldn’t match the competition. He will live to fight another day. I’m sure Manu already consoled him like he did the other boys who also missed out, and their parents will also console them. Although Omidiji won’t be eligible for the next U17, who knows, MRI may knock out a few more players before the World Cup and he could just make the cut. But he has to show he is among the best strikers in the team to deserve it Danielnino00: |

My campaign has been give ONLY the deserving a chance to compete. Lateef on his part got his chance time and time again. He will live to fight another day just like other boys who missed out this time. Danielnino00: |

The point of an intellectual argumentative discussion is to convince the oda person .. but if d oda person is not even listening to d facts on ground because he has made up his mind den d whole thing becomes more confrontational.... Pls guys lets drop this lateef argument ... E dn do... Rohr is corrupt , we gree, dats y he did take kayode nd d ajagun, instead he carry impotent strikers.... manu is corrupt, dats y omidiji was dropped, we agree, case closed... No need for plenty banter... |

I for one dnt know d real issues manu has with omidiji so i wont b defending him like my life depends on it.... Dats why we keep having insults nd mean words flying up nd down in this forum... Just say wat u want nd believe, nd back down... Ur point is not worth d insult, no mata how true u believe it to be |

BascoVanVeli:No one knows tomorrow. The boy can become another Ronaldo or Messi in the future. But let us respect Manu's decision to drop him now due to his current form. News emanating from camp says he fell short. So? Why still take him along? I don't even know why this is an argument in this first place. |

We have to leave with the MRI rules. It will keep on cutting out some quality under aged players but as long as it reduces age cheating, we should keep working with that. Praying for the best for those kids who were dropped due to one reason or the other. Keep working hard because there are better opportunities ahead. Grow wings all young Golden Eaglets. You are all part of the team. Thanks to them for their services in the process. |
