I beg to disagree with you.The blame should not be on the southern elites,the blame should be on those who are not elites because the elites make up about 1% of the populace.The majority, who are not elites are cowards.They are the ones who have refused to take the bull by the horn.The case of the recent Sudanese and Algerian revolutions comes to mind.If you don't take what belongs to you BY FORCE, the person holding it will NEVER give it up.

Yeah. A lot of the patents invented by the black man were sold cheap to corporations who profited from them.

And other factors like blacks not being allowed to patent their inventions then due to slavery, and a lot of the inventions were credited to their white owners.

I read that mobile money transfers was invented by a Kenyan but he sold the patent cheap for $2000 to Vodafone.

I also read that the first human heart to heart transplant was performed by a black South African technician, but was credited to a white South African doctor working at the same hospital.
