The truth here is that,there is a no religion without a history of violence,and if u take a critical look at every religion today,there is this part that preaches violence also.so it all comes down to our level of perception and understanding.i once read how God instructed a bear to kill 40children because they insulted elijah.so if one brother paul kills a kid because he insulted,nigga might make a reference to that part of the bible and say what he did what was right.and this same poo was borne out of the fact that we were made to believe every act of God is good.the only solution to really have a peaceful world,is to make a restriction on who can read the bible or quran.i believe that those who wrote both books are highly intellectual men,so only intellectual people should read and preach to people.not just any dick,tom or harry with dumbskull

And people realised the amendment was a good thing and was a lot better than the old era/ways in which people served God and they they embraced it. Normally, people would say, "Since we've found a better way, let's do away with the old ways", But you have to know that history is paramount to how we live our lives. The Bible is not a constitution, It is history and a Guideline to a perfect Christian life.

I Don't have a problem with the Islamic practice, My religion has endeared me to living peacefully with people without trying to force or shove my beliefs on them. in your own words, wouldn't it be better if some verses in the Quran were done away with or reformed(for peace sake). I understand Muslim's believe any tamper on the Quran will perverse it, and that makes sense but c'mon.. every adjustment made is to better the life of people. Constitutions are rewritten in relativity with time. When your Quran was written, people rode camels but did that stop them from driving cars? NO. If in the Old Testament Christians saw fit to kill people who didn't share the same belief but then chose to live peacefully with them in The New Testament. Wouldn't you consider that as a good thing? Brother.. You spoke well but you have only manage to contradict yourself.

Historically, from Mohamed through the caliphs to earlier Moslems, the word had been associated with subjugation, not peace.
