Now the story
If you frequent the phone swap thread on this technology section, Ull be familiar with a deal I had with this guy that went wrong, mid last year he contacted me for a phone worth 25k, he came to my shop begging that his wife was ill and he needed a phone to work, he said he had 15k and he would pay me the balance the next day when Uber pays him, he dropped one almost dead phone as a collateral, well I had mercy on him and gave him the phone, thinking I was helping a human Being, not knowing this beast was a serial thief.
I called him d next day, he told me before the week was over, he will come for the scrap he dropped and pay me my 10k, as I'm typing this, his phone is still in my drawer.
I called the next week and his number was off, stayed off for more than a month. He created another nairaland moniker and was operating with his second number. I found out it was him and started asking for my money, other nairalanders intervened, many people were insulting him and he begged me that he would pay me soon, I had to forgive him and tell people we were settled, and forgo the money for him.
This is someone I had mercy on, now to the main story.

Last Thursday, this same guy messaged about a note 5 I wanted to sell, we agreed on 35k and he said he is coming to pick it up d next day, now the next day being Friday, a nairalander Thaflint paid me for a pixel 2 xl, said I should ship it down to benin for him, I dropped the phone with one of my new staff then called someone from the bus company to come and pick it from my staff.. My staff is a 16 years old boy, I made the mistake of not telling him to tell d person picking from d bus company to call me. Now coincidentally, this thief, Adebayo4christ came to my shop to pick up the note 5, my boy now gave him the pixel 2 xl and the 2k for sending, Adebayo4christ now pretended to be calling me and told the boy he has spoken to me then took the phone and drove off. He parked somewhwere then messaged me that he won't be coming to my side till 3pm (screenshot attached)
I came to the shop and asked of the phone and the boy said he has given d person from d bus company, I called the company guy, he said he hasn't reached my shop. I immediately called Adebayo4christ, he said he hasnt left the island since morning.

I knew my phone has been stolen and I really scolded the staff and gave him some beating.
I posted the issue on whatsapp and someone advised me to question my boy, on my way home, I asked him questions, he told me the man said his name is Samuel and I'm (me) with one of his small Motorola phone ..at this juncture I knew it was Samuel because the said staff started working with me last month and doesn't even know anything about the small phone.

I tried setting him up with d phones he had for sale, but he didn't reply anyone.
I tried all the addresses affiliated to this guy, no one knows him, even his Uber profile has been flagged, had to report the case to the police and they have reached out to him but he doesn't pick any call from numbers not saved on his phone.

I called him and he said he is coming to my to my office, that he wants to see the boy that will point him out, since Saturday he hasnt come, he no longer takes my calls nor reply on whatsapp.
