Not just clamp down, but also create good jobs as an alternative. Many youths are frustrated, that when they see the job market and options available to them, internet crime seems like a better option.

Truth is even you and these youths can create jobs no matter how small if you are determined and dogged enough, and wouldn't need to waste time waiting for govt who clearly can't provide job for everyone. Many youths are thinking, birthing ideas and making legit money in this same country of ours. So anyone who resorts to crime under the pretext of joblessness will only have themselves to blame when the arm of law catches up with them. Nothing justifies crime. Nothing!

There are countries poorer, dirtier and less blessed than Nigeria but their youths prefer to farm, live modestly than to become criminals. All the people complaining that there are no opportunities, are the same people who refuse to farm, work odd jobs or use their intelligence to make something that they can sell. There's always an excuse to do the wrong thing, politicians steal so everyone must steal?
