TheGoodJoe:Look if you are not going to have an honest conversation we can just stop talking now. TheGoodJoe:Are you not the same person talking about marketing talent or was it Akwa United that you were planning to market to? Just face it, u have no justifiable reason to discriminate on children born abroad. |

BascoVanVeli:So to you, we can only market talents overseas. Please, some of our age grade players made their breakthrough in football playing in our local league. As I said, this is about improving their lives through football. Better they are exposed to the local league than not at all. Finito. |

forgiveness:So no beef if a big man's kid is outstanding in camp. He is going to get better footballing education and exposure. You already quoted my answer. What else do you want? |

TheGoodJoe:This is what I am talking about. You want young players in the league but instead of convincing both parties that this should be done you are busy planning discrimination. How many U17 world cup players have you seen in the NPFL? They would rather go on trials than play in the local league. Most of these kids even go abroad for tournaments so your excuse about getting them exposed is a fallacy. |

TheGoodJoe:Lets be honest if your parents have money they could even hire an ex professional to train you. They can send you abroad for football camps. They can even set up a pitch at the house. Then you talk about changing lives, shouldn't we be looking for the poorest of the poor? What you are doing is opening up a can of worms that will lead to even more discrimination. |

Icon79:Rather out Iniesta in Ronaldinho...Rivaldo stays..... Stoickov would have come in but his stay was not long and Ivan De La Pena was better than him...Etoo... This list from BBC i think was inspired by those players that won Champion s league |

darkelf:when compared to Akpeyi ? Taking Alampasu to AFCON is a bit beneficial to the SE. A couple of training, a little bit exposure might go a long way in helping him... and also if he was able to retain Uzoho on the bench being the first choice at UAE, I have no doubt he can do so now if given the chance. Though, many factors are against him especially his club status but the fact that he is still young and has potentials made him stand out when compared to Akpeyi. I also think he will offer a stiffer competition to Uzoho than Ezenwa and Akpeyi cc andrew44 |
