Humility017:I thought he needed a switch off allegiance for eligibility having turned up for the English U-20 team? Whatever the case is, if he rediscovers his form, I'd like to see him and Noah Okafor with the U23 team as I don't see Switzerland coming for the later. |

Humility017:Shocked Alampasu did not make the list. Why three goalkeepers? Very terrible decision. Something is really fishy with this goalkeeper thing. |

Humility017:Just a suspicion. I think the loss of momentum in development of a lot of young players in Porto has to do with Jorges Mendes as komekn complained about Iorfa and Wolves. There is no way a talent like Awaziem should have been treated the way he was at Porto except some underhand dealings to push players under Jorges Mendes Gestifute agency. Nigerian players should avoid Porto like a plague. Same goes for Wolves. They are for Mendes players. |

TheGoodJoe:You are dancing around. You have no point tbh. Our local boys lack knowledge but they are getting signed up and down. Manu Garba wants the best players. His job is not to teach them football. We should only select the players who lack football knowledge to implement your discrimination well well. I have given you the several ways children with money can get a better football education than their peers but as always you don't want to reason any opinion apart from yours. |

TheGoodJoe:So marega and aboubakar are mendes player ? Oga naija players that joined Porto are not good enough to make the team Awaziem is the only better player there But you expect him to bench Porto defenders abi ? Eder militao ? Old Pepe who just arrived ? Should I mention the rest and compare awaziem to them? As for musa yahaya and nwakali they are trash |

BascoVanVeli:You have given ways they can get better but they do not have better knowledge. So the point does not add up. However, the foreign borns have limitless opportunities. Keep the U17 level for grassroot development until we have a good structure in place. If not we are robbing kids off their opportunities to grow. Finito |

andrew444:Are all the players at Wolves under Mendes management, does that mean there are no favors to Mendes players at the club? Even if we have the next Thiago Silva in our hands, he should avoid Porto. Finito. |

If that list is true, why did the coach omitt Peter Olayinka who is currently playing in the quarter finals of the Europa League? There are many players on that list that are not better than him this season. Well, what is my own? Make I just dey study their body language though I have a clue but I will not spilt the milk. ![]() |

elyte89:Even if the list is authentic, not all those players would be in camp.. it's more like a watchlist. Some names will be erased out... At most 30 players will open camp before d final selection... |

forgiveness:the reason given was that he didn't measure up to mates in camp... You were probably the only one in the world that thought otherwise. Or perhaps u thought that because he plays for Go ahead eagles and is heading to Ajax,he is better than the other boys in camp?? |

TheGoodJoe:Player wey good good Our players at Porto are not good enough You think Porto is kasimpasa or bursaspor ? Aboubakar did well for Porto and the Malian marega Nwakali musa yahaya are crappy players Awaziem is good ,but Porto defenders are better than him Stop accusing Porto The truth is bitter |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 11:38pm On Apr 16, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe:More propaganda talk. Are you saying one tournament will automatically educate? Do you know that academies in Nigeria travel out all the time for tournaments? You went from wanting to sell off the players to this mess you are parading as education. How bad is the education when we are churning out players left and right. If top companies are hiring students from a certain university you can never turn around and call the school poor. All Nigerians in Europe didn't play U17 you cannot come up with a legitimate reason. You keep talking about excess opportunities, let us look at England, with the massive number of Nigerians there how many have played in the EPL? Most this boys have to face racism and flat out discrimination like what was happening at Newcastle. Then for you to suggest that they also get discriminated at home would just be to much for a child. Remember that we are dealing with kids here and scars at that age can be very unforgivable |

andrew444:I laid a suspicion after noticing the control Mendes has in Porto. Then I expressed my fears. I do not think that is a good place for players who need development due to outside influences. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:45pm On Apr 16, 2019 |
BascoVanVeli:They have better opportunities than those at home. That is it. So we are using the opportunity of the U17 to those who do not have at all to have something. It is that simple. All these Newcastle / Rich father does not change the very simple fact that the foreign borns have far better opportunities than those at home. No matter how you twist it, call it discrimination, the fact remains that no matter the racism they suffer in Europe does not equate to a child with no opportunity to nurture and market his talent. Finito. |
