Nigeria First To Book 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup Ticket by chinambusay(op): 5:09am On Apr 18, 2019
Nigeria has become the first to book the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup ticket, after defeating Angola 1-0 in a match played in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday.Olakunle Olusegun's goal through a penalty kick in the 21st minute, made Nigeria the first to book the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup ticket to Brazil. Though the Golden Eaglets were guilty of profligacy and the technical crew certainly has much to do still, but they proved to be masters of use of space and close control.

The win gave the Eaglets a return to the FIFA U-17 World Cup, after missing out of the last edition staged in India two years ago. Nigeria will certainly finish at the head of Group A if they avoid defeat against Uganda at the same venue on Saturday.

Paraguay and Ecuador were the first teams to qualify...later joined by Argentina, Chile and Nigeria.
Brazil qualified automatically as host Nation.

These guy's name shouldn't be changed from golden eaglets to super eagle, cause I see the prefix "SUPER- EAGLE" affecting them.

Imagine these same boys in super eagle and they start misbehaving, even Go round FC in Port Harcourt will win them then.

Nigeria has not booked any world cup ticket yet!!

Presently, Nigeria has 6 points, Uganda 3, Angola 3.

If Nigeria lose by even a single goal to Uganda, she will not qualify for the world cup if Angola beat Tanzania by a two or more goal margin

This headline is misleading. Nigeria is the ist to qualify in Africa and not d ist to qualify in the world. South American teams like Argentina already qualified days earlier after finishing their own qualifiers like few days ago.

You too are lying,Japan,Korea,Australia and Tajikistan were the first team to qualify and nigeria have not yet qualified yet because Uganda bear Tanzania 3-0 and we need a draw on Saturday to top the group and qualify to Brazil 2019 fifa u 17 world cup.

This is a total misconception. Nigeria hasn't qualified yet. I said it yesterday, if Uganda wins, then the group is open. They eventually won. So, this report is false.

Based on head to head, if we even lose by 100 goals, we will still qualify.

We have, based on head to head...even if Uganda beat us by 50goals, Tanzania is out, On head to head we r ahead of Angola, and since two team will qualify, we are basically home and dry broooooo.

You are wrong bro. CAF use head to head to determine a tie breaker. Even if we loose our last game, we have qualified already cos we are ahead of Angola on head to head. So the reports are correct. we are through to the world cup and next round
