Following the signing of the minimum wage bill by Mr president, the office of the vice president have proposed increased stipend for the npower beneficiaries.

This followed wide consultations by the agencies overseeing youth development.

Npower to start receiving #50,000, while youth Corp members - #35,000 respectively.

How do we improve the standard of living without increasing purchasing power? Clarify please

Has transport fare in your area increased?

Has the cost of food and other consumables increased since the increase in minimum wage? Shed more light

The credit should not go to Mr President or the vice President because they were not the initiator of the project, rather the labour union and the national assembly. The buharil led federal government never wanted to increase workers salary. The president approved the bill under duress also seeking favour from the electorates in the just concluded general election was also a contributing factor. The comments made by the Senate President Bukola Saraki was to congratulate the Labour union and the National assembly being the initiator of the bill. The buhari and Osibanjo you are praising is planning to increase VAT to compensate the salary increment this means prices of commodities will go high. This is robbing Peter to pay Paul."He that sold monkey and bought pusy cat, still has something Lying down in his house". Nigerian youths shine your eyes.

It's a normal phenomenon for increase to happen in anew economy when the purchasing power increase .its a law in economics but the PMB government lack of direction is quite disheartening

I'm begging all Nigerians in the name of God to jettisoned being sentimental wen it comes to National issue.

Mr president had done well in terms of minimum wages and kudos need to be given.

saying he signed the bill under duress sound somehow to me because the National Assembly (Senate) failed to assent it b4 the election with the hope that it might influence the vote in favour of Mr President.

let appreciate any good this government do and condemn the lapse..... not criticising both the good and the bad

GOD BLESS NIGERIA
