I am a born again child of God who has served God faithfully all my life. For over a year now, i have been going through a lot, ranging from people conspiring against me, false and malicious accusations, people going diabolical because of me etc. The worst of all is that i landed myself in trouble when I compromised my faith at work when i got myself involved in an unethical act which has landed me in a court case. I have since cried out to God for mercy and turned a new leaf, but this problem has persisted. I have learnt my lessons the hard way. All i need is God's mercy. My life and family has become a shadow of my old self. Sleepless nights have become my experience. I feel God has turned His back on me. I am confused right now. Pls u need help from spiritually-minded folks, as my faith is being challenged right now.

The painful truth is that for you still feel it's your right to blame God for the consequences of a problem you got yourself into, is a sign that you haven't yet learnt your lessons.

So you should learn from what king David did while suffering from the consequences of a problem he got himself into, for he didn't blame God but himself, and hence went through it all in humility before God, as though he were carrying his own cross.

Maybe that's why he was a man after God's heart, for it's not necessarily about never making a mistake, but also accepting the consequences of one's mistakes and learning from it, whenever one makes a mistake.

So you know what pushed you into such at the first, so it's most likely that what you're going through is to prevent such from repeating itself in the future, even if you think you have repented from it.

So at the end it may be for your own good and something you may later thank God for.
