hammerFC:I truly blame Yorubas that vote for politicians married to non-Yoruba women. Governors are now in the role formerly played by Obas. They are not just political leaders they are also to promote culture. The first wife is the immediate resource a governor uses to engage other women in community to drive culture. Imagine an Ibo first lady assuming cultural leader position in Yorubaland. ![]() This is why I think Ondo people were very naive. They say they dont want Tinubu to interfere in their politics so they gave their state to an Ibo to be first lady over Yoruba ladies. So i support your response. Going forward we want to know who will be our governor candidate and who will be our first lady candidate. Any governor candidate with Ibo wife is an automatic disqualification from the race. The women of Ondo have vowed to remove Akeredolu and his Ibo wife at next election. |
