Local post office is not far oo,Dugbe to UI. Infact, I'm going there tomorrow if i no see their call before 3:01pm
Thanks
Most times, packages come from Dugbe to UI on Wednesdays, so just go there as planned, there's a high chance that your package will be waiting for you already. Sometimes due to the large amount of packages, the woman in charge of calling clients may not call of them the same day.
BTW, I can see that the number of Xiaomi guys in UI and environs is gradually increasing by the day, nice one.

Just trying to point out something.
Correct me if I'm wrong o
Recent Xiaomi Chinese version that are flashed with global rom, should never Lock their bootloader and do update... As this leads to brick land.
If u must update, update with an unlocked Boot loader
. Am I missing something undecided

Locked or unlocked boatloader is not what leads to bricking of phones during update. What leads to bricking is trying to update when a fake rom is flashed on the phone

Airtel is a scam. I have about 2gig and updated my redmi 5+ of around 450mb only to be left with almost 500mb. Why are these people like this? First time I will experience data sucking from this thief? Anyone using airtel and have experienced this before? E be like no more economy data plans across networks now.

I don't know if this might be a contributing factor but I recently noticed that my UCbrowser always downloads stuffs that I can't see. Immediately I open the app, my phone will indicate that something is being downloaded (both on MTN and Airtel). I can tell from the network speed because it will be reading 1mb/s.
I had to download UcMini instead.

If you use UCbrowser, observe it. It may be responsible.

i dont think so bro. I only use firefox to do most stuffs. I have been suspecting them for a long time , but during the last update of about 450mb, around double that data was deducted because i monitored it from the start, and i know my data balance. i dont even know which best alternate data suscription to use now.

I guess you are wrong.
For them to have flash with global Rom it means the bootloader is unlocked. I am using RN7 flashed with global Rom buy the seller and I updated the phone.

One enter brick land when you have fake rom and you try to update.

Exactly what happened to me. However, this only happened to me on Airtel when they gave me the smartphone bonus thing. The residual data I had before subscribing recently went normally. It may just be a coincidence, probably the problem is with UC.

I'll try and find out if it's UC or Airtel.

Your phone will enter brickland if you lock the bootloader. Since it's a Chinese version, and the bootloader was unlocked to flash global rom, you can update, you can use. However, whether you are using official global rom or not let not the bootloader be locked,

You brick when using mi flash tool and you tick 'flash and lock'

Holuwaxheun:

This case is different

Thanks for that boss. Will the phone get bricked when updating via the updater even though the boatloader is locked?

Exactly what I was saying. I think xiaomi made the global software not to run on Chinese version when bootloader is locked. So one flashes global firmware on a Chinese version phone and locks the bootloader, the phone will be bricked.

The competition is getting tougher, the better it is for we consumers though, Availability outside india and Development for the oppo realme will be the challenge, redmi note 7/pro has advantage in this aspect. All in all, the end users get more options.
