Ruse. Rabble-rouser. What do you bring to the table? Feminism? Politics is essentially a game of numbers. Since you arrived the Green Chamber how well have you pushed restructuring of Nigeria which should endear you to the SE/SS? All politics is local. That should make you relevant to your people! Your political relevance is determined by how well you address the key needs of the electorate in your locality! Got that?

4th term law maker?

She didn't throw her hat in the ring 4 times now she wants someone to simply step down for her? Why didnt she just put her name out there and test her own strength instead of waiting for favours?

If someone steps down for her rather than getting the post herself, she would be in a compromising position throughout

Women has always been marginalized in the house.

The only woman(Ette) who was selected was removed before she could even settled down .

It's on record that majority of voters are always women, men prefer playing football than voting.

Why was she removed?

Yea she is right and does have a point but if only the APC party would listen to her. She's forgotten this is Nigeria where women take several seats backward. sad

Enough of all these shenanigans in the house.
We have a lot of job to do to move our nation forward.
All hands must be on deck.
God bless our President MUHAMMADU BUHARI and his amiable Vice president Prof Yemi OSIBANJO.
God bless Nigeria.
better to use the word:your rather than :our...... Thank you for your understanding.

My dear i agree with u if ur argument is abt giving women more opportunities buh dat opportunity should never be considered for nkeiru in particular. That woman is a disgrace n one of the main reasons we don't take u ladies serious politically. I need u to make research abt her n see for urself if she had made a single contribution to better the lives of her people from the beginning of her political career till date. Same way that idiot yahaya Bello is making the youths a laughing stock. I am not against women been in sensitive positions buh please not this lady in particular... so

The igbos aren't serious, so among the elected federal lawmakers in igbo land,it is a woman the igbos are projecting to lead the green chamber. With all due respect to my people, we aren't ready yet to compete for leadership position in this country. as it stands now, women don't have the capacity to lead neither of the federal chambers.

Married women in politics is nice, because you get the ruling and leadership of her and her husband.. then if she has a small boy boy, he is also in the helms of affair.

No matter how a woman hides it, emotions can't be separated from them, even the feminists joined feminism out of emotions...

So,

But the man's rule is not from his wife, girlfriend and family members influence. And men are without emotion?

What an age to be female

Etteh was removed or she removed herself by being excessively corrupt?
I'm not a male chauvinist but this lady should go and sit down. Nigeria is too problematic now for a woman to successfully be a Speaker of the HoR.
so bankole was a saint then after taking over.... you are chavnist...Etteh was removed cos perhaps she was imposed on d house simple...dats yy d house shd be allowed to choose themselves...this igbo woman is qualified as gbaja...

Hunger is usually self inflicted!!!

Through laziness, stupidity and useless parents.

If you have more children that you can cater for - you are stupid, useless and a bad citizen!

Exactly the mental attitude of an average Ibo, who by fear of competition and largely by greed, always wants everything on a platter.
Bunch of political greenhorns.

What if you're born poor?
While we blame the parents for 'laziness, stupidity and useless'-ness, how about providing the emergency line for the hungry children?

I was waiting for a feminist to counter my opinion, it took you too long... well, I have no hate on women in politics or helm of affair but you and I know that the challenges and distraction you face is much.... life is no some GAME of thrones movie where you can be female and charge for battle.

what do we do when we need our leader and she has serious period cramps or she just lost an only son or she is not strong enough to tell her opposition to shut up.
well, no matter how we see it or pain it, A WOMAN WILL ALWAYS BE A WOMAN.
