It will be admitted even if it is illegally obtained for as long as it is authentic and relevant.

There is nothing like illegal evidence. Once the evidence is genuine and relevant, it will be admissible. The manner of obtaining it may create/constitute an offence punishable separately.
He should also present social media opinion polls.o atiku's case is based on just a server result? No wonder

Any evidence obtained via an illegal means is illegal. It is tainted and not even admissible in a Kangaroo court, if we had one. Go read up on legal cases and why many cases were thrown out of court due to improper evidence.

You are very wrong please expand your horizon on law of evidence. If one breaks into a house to obtain a material evidence, the evidence remains valid based on genuineness and relevance but, a crime of house breaking has been committed.

Not true. If a police obtains evidence without a valid warrant, it will be inadmissible not to talk about a random civilian.

It's a legal proceeding and not evidence for a news report.

Wrong only statements and confessions obtained under duress that are not admissible. A police can obtain evidence without warrant in a sting operation!
Or you think going undercover will require warrant to video tape material evidence?

A sting operation is sanctioned by law. Someone stealing INEC data has no such legal protection. And any evidence used by anybody in court must be without questions before it is permissible.

Leave that guy, evidence that if admits will be useless.all inec documents or materials gotten from them must be through due process.inec is a government agency,it must be protected.that is why atiku had to go to court to get access to all inec materials meaning that doing otherwise is illegal.dont waste your time on that blockhead
