bigheadday: Bro am in Togo as well and I think the best thing to do is find any of these Solicitors offices around and tell them to guide you. I would have helped you find out but I hardly speak the French and their language. Since you have been here that long I believe you could either speak French or their language so its best you enquire from a solicitor yourself so they guide you. Meanwhile am still shocked oooo how you take catch American woman for this Togo so? You are lucky ooo most whites I see are French or Lebanese and this their language thing is just a big wahala. Well from what l know, if you have a resident permit in Togo which l beleive you will, it will be easy, just approach any of their marriage registries tell them you want to get married, make sure you go there 3 weeks before the arrival of your fiance tell them your story but they may ask for more money if they know you are marrying a foreigner and to make it worst you are a foreigner yourself, l will strongly advice you go with a Togolese that you trust to their marriage registry it might make things easier for you. Don't forget your fiance does not require a visa to Togo it is Visa on arrival for most countries in the West including America but it is only valid for 7 days, l will suggest you ask her to get Togolese visa at their Embassy in Washington DC for a longer stay and multiple entries. CR1 visa is slower in process than K1 visa, but l will advice you to go for CR1 visa because it's denial is so low compare to K1 visa. The whole process might take a year or more. If this is the first time your wife to be is visiting you, l will advice you to get married on her second or third visit as this gives you more chance of getting the visa without much complications, marriage at first visit for Nigerians, a country rated according to their immigration standard as high fraud country is giantly complicated and can leads to refusal. just take it easy my friend, it is better to wait longer for something that has highest percentage of success than rush and fail. Take lots of pictures together and don't delete your chats except your very very private conversations l wish you success. [color=#000099][/color] |
