martineverest:Mr. Larger Economy, what's the growth rate of the US, India and China? The way you guys defend the indefensible is very surprising. Nigeria is dying (which I support) under Buhari but you're still rationalizing it. Shame! 7 Likes 2 Shares |

THIS IS OLD NEWS AND THEREFORE, A LIE. Here is is the LATEST news on our GDP growth, from Bloomberg. ''As Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari seeks re-election this week, economic growth is finally getting back to where it was when he took power four years ago. Gross domestic product in Africa’s largest oil producer expanded 1.9 percent last year, the most since 2015, the Abuja-based National Bureau of Statistics said on its website on Tuesday. The economy grew 2.4 percent in the three months through December from a year earlier, the fastest since the third quarter of 2015.'' https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-02-12/nigerian-economy-expands-1-93-in-2018-from-the-previous-year Translation: Since the oil price crash of 2015, which caused the recession and economic slowdown, we are now BOUNCING BACK FAST, thanks to Buhari's policies and intolerance of corruption. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO START USING YOUR BRAINS ONLINE, instead of acting like a herd of cows led by the nose by someone with an agenda.. The first thing to do when you see such stats as posted by the OP is to check the source, then check the date of the report to see if it reflects the current situation. Iamgrey5:After the economy was rebased, Nigeria still had 7% as at 2014. Though i agree that corruption is a major major problem. Buhari need to do sometrhing radical. He is just wasting time if he thinks Nigeria will improve much at this rate even if corruption is reduced to zero. Our growth rate is too poor. 2 Likes |

martineverest:I decided to test you and you still failed. The US economy is almost saturated hence the low growth rate but Nigeria which is a virgin land with close to zero infrastructure shouldn't be less than 3%. Why were you mute on India and China despite their lack of natural resources. Make no excuse for gross failure under this incompetent regime. 6 Likes 1 Share |
