What this state keeps lacking is good leadership. Despite the huge revenue allocations, majority of the youths in this state are touts looking for free money. The few educated ones have no jobs.

Even without oil, Akwa-ibom has one of the best beaches in Nigeria, a huge tourist attraction wasting away due to youth restiveness, insecurity (kidnapping) and lots of other social vices which still takes us back to youth unemployment. Sad.
