Trump didn’t attack Saudi over Khashoggi because Khashoggi is not American. He is Saudi and carries a Saudi passport.

If Saudi had killed and beheaded an American-Passport-Carrying-Khashoggi, they would be calling for massive retaliation. The Dems would use that against the Republicans and Trump so Trump will respond.

But of course, the Arabians from Saudi are not foolish. That is why they informed the CIA of their plan before it happened.

Again, no Thai or Indonesian Government will and the audacity to kill any American for drug related offences. That is why it has never been done in recent history and won’t ever happen, regardless of their laws.

Non of the countries you mentioned will execute an American. You think those countries have not arrested an American for drug related offence(s) before? Why havent they executed any? They will never treat an American the way they'll treat other citizens.

Almost 40% of America’s oil is produced locally. 38.8% to be exact. The rest are imported and Saudi Arabia’s 8.1% is much closer to Nigeria’s 5.2% than Latin America (19.6%) and Canada’s (15.1%). An embarrassingly small amount in comparison to your 97% claim. The United States does not run on Saudi oil; it can do away with it while increasing the units from other sources/ countries. But it won’t because of strategic geopolitics.

The perception that Washington parley with Saudi because of Oil imports is so wrong; the evidence doesn’t support it. The US needs a counter balance Muslim power in the Middle East to counter Iran and that is why the US sees Saudi as a strategic ally. Not for the oil. Trump responding to any public killing of an American is beyond Saudi Arabia or Congress or Dems. It is US foreign policy followed through and through.
