President Muhammadu Buhari has directed Mr Abubakar Malami, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice to immediately intervene in the case of Zainab Aliyu, the student incriminated in drug-related matters and being detained by Saudi Arabian authorities.

Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora matters, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, made this disclosure in a statement.

We be been on this , in the last two weeks. Buhari has directed AGF to take necessary action. We are making good progress. She will be back, along with 2 others in same situation

Recall that Zainab is cooling off in a Saudi Prison. It was recently discovered that she was framed by some drug Cartel in Kano Airport. The allegations of Zainab Aliyu entering the Asian country with Tramadol has been discovered to be absolute falsehood as recent events and arrests have confirmed the girl’s innocence.

This is my personal opinion and i don't care what anyone thinks about it :

If the drug was Cocaine, i would have believed the frame up story even more....but Tramadol is of a much lesser value to warrant such risks.

I THINK the girl took it for her personal use and her rich family is in turn roping the 6 airport staff into this mess.

My question is : if CCTV footage proves these luggage handlers guilty, why not flood news outlets with the videos?

The Saudi government will believe the coverup story more if the videos are shown to them.
