As for flash it uses the screen and yes it has a notification Led. Even the Redmi Note 6 pro has no front flash, the Redmi Note 5 so called front flash is not that great.

Technology has moved away from that type of notch, you have to get used to it. We are now in the water drop/V/U/dew drop notch and cutout camera era. So you move with the tide

I think a large part of getting ads on your phone depends on how you set it up, while setting up a miui phone, don't just accept all the options by clicking next. Ensure you disable recommendations, user experience programs, and in apps like music players, disable recommendations also, for ads while installing applications, an option is there to disable recommendation once the security scan starts. I've never gotten a single ad on my phone since I started using it. This might be of help to people with ads problem in miui

X5 is an absolute beast, more like the Redmi Note 6 Pro in terms of battery life. The X5 is not on the same league as the Redmi Note 7 when it comes to anything else.



I went hard on it + GCAM. Nearly 30mins of PUBG alone drained about 15% so i think PUBG is actually the culprit. Not minding the reading. I put nearly every phone through this. I'm going to try using camera like a normal user would in the next cycle to see if the difference is a lot. I'm done taking photos for my review anyway.

To be fair, the pocophone does not ship with ads. My short time with it, i didn't see any ads on them. Stand to be corrected though.

But the Redmi Note 7 has the following advantages
1. Better rear Camera
2. Bigger Battery
3. Presence of 3.5mm jack
