Most entrepreneurs in this country are not entrepreneurs by choice. It's because there are no jobs that has turned everybody into wig seller and mini importer.

Yes we all can't be entrepreneurs but job security in Nigeria is very low.

There is no guarantee that you gonna keep your job for as long as you think.
Anything can happen in the future....for instance the company you work for can become bankrupt tomorrow and will have to sack most of the staff.
For those with government jobs, a new governor or senator might emerge and decide to sack his staff and start afresh with new people....this one happened to my uncle.
But lucky for him he had a back up plan for in case he lost his job.

Today he has finally retired, his gratuity is not forthcoming and the state government has not paid him pensions for several months now .....but he is not worried cuz he's living off the rent he collects every year from his tenants after he invested his savings in real estate.

Yes everybody cannot be entrepreneurs but job security in Nigeria is very low and it would be risky working 7-7 everyday without anything to fall back on if you lost that job tomorrow.

All of us cannot be entrepreneurs truly. I lost my job at access bank in 2017. I waited and waited for another job, i didn't get any good one.

I saw a business opportunity. I put some Millions into it. Lo and behold, i lost everything in the business. Perhaps, if i hadn't lost my job, i wouldn't have delved into business, or rather, that type of business wasn't meant for me..

Otunba Akin Alabi is on point on this.... One thing i noticed is that it's easier getting your salary if you have a good job in Nigeria, than delving into a business you know little or nothing about.

I've not gotten over those losses. I'm still paying for the debts i never ate...

God will help every hustler doing it legitimately.

Well, whether you agree or not, what he said is the truth.
If we all become an entrepreneur, who'll work for us? Or do you people think all these mushroom/one-man businesses can help a country grow or assist a family have generational wealth?
Even those of you doing entrepreneurship for years, how much properties or money do you have in your name?
Let some people become strong entrepreneurs while others continue as employees. What we need is a country that caters to the welfare and needs of the citizens (employees & employers).

However, everybody can be an investor. Invest in real estate, treasury bills, bonds and other things that can multiply your resources.
