A frustrated man united fan burns his 2000 naira jerseys, as his club fails to qualify in premier league top 4 position.

In the trending video, the man united fan was seen pouring kerosene on his two jerseys and then set it ablaze.

This prompted mostly chelsea fans to react to the video as they compare chelsea to man united.

I started supporting Liverpool in the mid nineties we finish between 4-8 position ,the 2000 eufa cup we won deporting alaves watched it live ,now we in our peak you just don't support a team cos they are winning or because of one player ,most ppl now a fair weather supporters
Exactly!!! Being a fan is just much more than winning, the passion to follow your team, the adrenaline you get when you see them play (and have the possibility to win)....is more than enough for any proper fan. Winning is just the cherry on the cake.

So, when they call club fans, this one will fall out... Smh... Africans don't understand what being a fan of a club entails... It's through thick and thin.

Real fans see their club relegated, support still, and eventually return with them to promotion... It's shameful when I see Nigerians changing clubs and jerseys season to season... No sense of loyalty whatsoever. Imagine former United fans jumping to Real Madrid, and now Juventus... What will they do when Mr. Six packs retires?.. Or those following a bald big spender from Spain to Germany, and now England...

Any way, we know real fans... Let plastic fans keep embarrassing themselves... As if the trophies won add any real value to their personal lives.

Problem with Man U is that they need to appoint a coach who will be allowed to develop the team, and forget about trophy for now.

Sir Alex was appointed in 1986. Took him till 1990 to win a European trophy, 1993 to win League title.

All because he was given time.
Times change, then and now is different, modern football demands more.Sir Alex might not perform with the amount of tops clubs now in the epl
