anything that's been enjoyed today, was paid in full by those that came before us. Everybody wants to migrate to America but forgets that America was once a land of outlaws and great violence. Men paid for the peace and progress enjoyed in that land and most often than not, with their blood.

Nigeria's problem boils down to so many factors:
Poverty, hardship, Means if survival, Not organized, tribal differences, religious differences, greed and so on

It's very easy for any leader or employer to exploit any of these options

The reality: A strike is necessary in Nigeria, but it can't work. That's the truth

Have been so busy to reply you... what you need to be asking me is how much is my maintenance costs etc.. You are talking about assumptions .. Deal with facts and facts only... yes we can agree that profitability is not like what it used to be ,when uber first came into Nigeria market.. That is Fact #1 ...Fact #2 it does not mean that the business is not profitable... also my profitability is a combination of at least 5 things...
1. Good driver ...if you have a good driver, your maintenance costs will reduce.. If the driver drives responsible, it will cut down on cost.

2. Mechanic... you need a mechanic that it is trust worthy. In the past I had very bad mechanic.. A lot of them use wrong parts and did poo jobs. I found out that I end up replacing the same parts over and over again.. It was a nightmare, most time the mechanic was using wrong parts... the new mechanic I have now is very good...

3. Maintenance... I maintain my cars very well ..from experience bad oil, coolant etc were constant issues for me. I had to sell all my uber cars due to the issue .now I do my own oil change and use my own oil filter.. With Mobil 1 oil Extended performance.. I change my oil and filters every 12k miles.. Compare that to someone changing every month and spending 5k naira doing oil change..

4. Types of vehicles... for you to succeed in this uber business.. You need good cars and reliable cars too.. You have to look at the currant profit margin of the business.. You have to t yourself, those it make sense buying corolla ,elantra, for the business.. Especially when the cost of those cars tokunbo go for about 1.6m upwards.. At the beginning I was shouting elantra up and down .. But as the profitability of uber changes, I had to adjust myself.. It didn't make any business using a car of 1.6m for uber anymore.. How long would it take you to make your money back.. So I had to look for alternative and I started using 03 to 05 civics. Those cars are great and rugged enough for uber.. And the landing cost for me is just excellent.. If I tell you my landing cost, you will not believe me ..so I don't need to reveal that to anyone...
Conclusion : Just because you didn't succeed in something ,does not mean others can't succeed ... once I get my other business running and stabilise, I will stop posting on the forum or I will do less of posting.. No matter how much you try to teach people, they still don't get it .. And pretty soon people will wonder why the next person in the same line of business is doing better... people need to learn from others...
Boss is Hyndai Elantra 2008 good for 30k weekly ?

That Elantra has two types of engines. If engine size is a bother to you, you may want to find out the vehicle's country of origin. One engine is 2.0, the other is 1.6.

Nigeria's problem are very similar to India grin..india has alotta tribes and their cast system cannot be rivalled in the whole world grin..yet strike worked and is working perfectly there grin

Its the same system that produces same results bro..the principles employed in engineering in the West can be replicated in the East..yes sometimes systems can be twerked to suit specific environments but the foundation remains the same...the problem is the people occupying a land mass not the land mass..if you relocate Nigerians to China and vice versa..in 50 years China will be Nigeria and Nigeria will be China grin

Had my worst driving experience today, got a trip to Local airport around 5:30am and I headed for international airport cos I know there are flights that come in that early. Usually, I don't use the parking lot at the international airport, I just meet some of my colleagues there and they find a space for me at the arrival point but the good boy in wanted to do the parking lot believing I'll get a trip in minutes and uber will reimburse me. Little did I know that I was in for a long thing. I waited over two hours, not even a flash came in. I had to put on my taxify too to see if there'll be a request but I was also wrong, my village people really had my time today. Meanwhile, right there in the parking lots, I could see uber/taxify drivers gisting comfortably while me was getting pained for staying so long when I knew time means money on this job. Las las, I got frustrated, paid my parking fee and left. I am in Ajao estate as we speak.

LRU was there at about 6.15pm. Google map saved me, got a request from awolowo road ikoyi to surulere at 4.30pm, Google map advised iyanoworo- Anthony- ikorodu road and rider agree. That's how I got to surulere before 6pm.

Always check Google map, wherever you're driving to, check. It was save you time
