Biafra was a country with defined borders, and a defined army.

Boko Haram?? They are a typical disembodied terror group, who are everywhere and at the same time nowhere.There is a reason why it is taking so long to beat them.

Go and read about how long other countries like Sri Lanka(24 years, Tamil Tigers), Colombia(FARC , 40 years, and they even had US aid), Spain(ETA, 40 years) UK (IRA 30 years), etc dealt with similar groups. You can't starve them out. If Biafra had fought their war as an insurgency/guerrilla war....the Nigerian Civil war would have been a twenty year thing.
