Guys am thinking of something today, what if we the youth of Nigeria have a massive peaceful protest on October 1, we can use the time between now and October 1 to create awareness. We need to speakout massively, let this spoilers know that we have a voice. If we can unite we will be free, I believe if we put behind our differences and ethical/religious bigotry that decides us and we unite with one voice to protest against the insanity in our country that could be a starting step to the walk of making Nigeria great.
I so much love this country and Her present condition breaks my heart. cry cry

With the so much love u hv fr this country.....I hope it's same as the love u hv fr death sad

nothing would change in Nigeria except with a Revolution mared with the blood of our selfish leaders anything apart frm that sorry ur Protest is nothing but just a waste

My advise "Dont kill innocent people for nothing" Abeg

When last did protest work
How can we have a real protest in the country? When the entire nation has been broken into pieces, region, religion, tribal and party wise.

There are many people who want Nigeria to remain the way it is.
If A is protesting today B will not because their son is president or VIP at the time.
The unity of Nigeria has been touched so badly.

A house divided against itself cannot stand, work and progress in peace. That is Nigeria right now.

It will require a leader who love this nation and its people to do something different. leadership is key.

This is a pathetic situation. Many Nigerians are leaving the shore of this country everyday without having slightest idea of what the future hold for them in the western world.

The situation is getting worst everyday. People need to know that life is not greener in Obodo oyinbo. Many go through hell over there.

I hate when people make comments as this.....The elitist and commoners are so fvcking different.........The rulers, elites and politicians are our problems and the reason we are in this mess.....

you lots praise and hail Dangote, tinubu, otedola, adenuga, atiku, obj,IBB and buhari but they are our fvcking problem as a nation......

Why are a lot of common Nigerians running to us, Canada, Australia etc...them dey pick money for floor for there undecided...they are running to a system that works, where the tax dey pay are working and where there is a level playing field for all where skills are judged by competence and merits and not by tribalism and nepotism......

Spare me the bullshitt of the government is the reflection of its people thingy.....that is a big fvcking lie.....I wish I can type and go on and on but I stopped political discourse and debates for my sanity

I agree with you to an extent but, nevertheless... the writer is correct. The government is a reflection of the people else, why would the people vote for these fools if they're not in agreement with their vague ideologies.

Again, the 1% extremely wealthy and high level Politicians are the biggest problems we have as they intentionally create these problems for the masses through which they take advantage of.

Example... why can't we have 24-hour stable power supply? If we do, folks like Otedola, Dangote, Adenuga and all the super rich fools that's got a stake in oil won't make money.

The U.S was faced with exactly rhe same problem in the late 1800 during the industrial Revolution where Rockefeller, the owner of Standard Oil and world richest man at the time tried to bribe the government to refuse patent to the newly invented and discovered electricity.

Thank God the U.S Government were progressive minded people else, just imagine how a massive invention like that would have gone down the drain.
In Nigeria, we're currently at that crossroads... doing what is morally right for the masses' benefit or the wrong for the 1% benefit.

If there's infrastructure for all, investing in the road that unite, in the bridges that bind, in the railway that connect, investing in our unity schs as they were might to be, in the NYSC as it was might to be, investing in creating heroes out of our sporting champs who daily demonstrate on the field of struggle that victory has ntin to do with faith and ethnicity, and everything to do with hardwork and tenacity, if we have a government that invest in these things. Then there's hope. If a whit man turn and call me Nigga, my blood would rise in righteous anger, for the evil of discrimination is clearly established when a white man try to treat me like rubbish. Same is happening now in our dear country Nigeria, if you cannot buy land unless u ar a ative, u cannot find work unless u are a native and u cannot feel safe unless you are a native. How can we then say we are nt primitive? I dont get the logic of thinking it different, to be tribalistic and then to be racist, if you have to judge me for just hearing my name, whatever you call it, my friend it's the same. Which nation can stand dividing it's people, how can one build it foundation so brittle, if we can not see ourselves in each other, this journey end here and we ar going no further. Let me stop here my fellow Nigerians. undecided lipsrsealed
