I've been following this thread since 2016. IELTS has showed me pepper i have written and lost count my writing was always coming back with 6.5, But i could not retreat with all the testimonies here and there. I also contacted @Johnnybravo when he dropped a line to encourage someone that was down with the writing syndrome he said and i quote "BY THE TIME AM THROUGH WITH YOU IN YOUR WRITING YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME". Mehn this guy is a Guru immediately after my 1st session with him, he was able to identify my issue in writing.
Lo and Behold i scaled IELTS this time
L - 8.5
R - 8.5
W - 7.5
S - 7.0
CRS now stands at 463. Thanks to all those testimonies that kept me going and not to retreat.
@johnnybravo@vcole@ifeoma,@joo,@Topsmamen,@wasseynewest...+ silent readers wishing us well...THANK YOU,THANK YOU, THANK YOU....May we never stop rejoicing.

Congrats bro. Never have I been so happy for someone’s result like I was for yours today. It feels good seeing someone stuck with 6.5 in Writing in over 10 attempts(like you told me) to move to 7.5. I am so glad our efforts paid off. Welcome to Canada! All the best to other IELTS candidates.

Today is the happiest day of my life. After 6 attempts of not being able to go through ielts, I got my result today.

L 9
R 8.5
W 7
S 7.5

Recall, I complained here of not being able to pass
listening, some months ago. God has done it. Though crs is 447.

No one is permitted to give up. It's very possible.

Dedicated to all those who encouraged me. God bless you all.

Please I read somewhere on the thread that it is better to leave out spouse work experience when filling the express entry profile.
Can someone confirm this for me.

AlhamduliLlah its PPR.
It was in Oct 2017 that i seemed to have had an epiphany;this country wasnt getting easier to live and relocation came to mind. I had a friend that was having a hard time in naija whom i always encouraged to try Canada, she chatted me one day to say she had landed in NS Dec 2016. I also remember another friend using my card to make WES payment early 2016,so i called her up to send me d Nairaland link to the Canadian thread cos i was sure it would exist! She did and also sent me the A-Z of express entry..i went through it and i couldnt believe how easy it seemed..so i had been sitting on a long thing i thought, when i could be in Canada in a year.
I immediately went to Unilag to start transcript processing and collect my certificate that had been laying there for donkey years, they said i needed my undergrad cert,i proceeded to Lasu to process this, this took me another 2 weeks to get out, upon my return to Unilag, story started, they couldnt find my results, they advised i go to PG school from Records office,Pg school said Department didnt send mastersheet,i should go to them, however my name was on d graduating list o,see village people, thats how they were tossing me up and down till they went on that long strike. Mogbe one day during d strike,i decided to call the hanty in records office, thats how she told me they were outside the building under the sun trying to go in but the union guys wouldnt let them..i said heya sorry o,send me your account no lemme send u money for pure water. 2 days later i get a call from Hanty that 'is my name so so so' i said yes,she said she just found my results and was already preparing my transcript i shouted wonderful, this same result we searched and searched for in the cabinets in records office and we didnt see..pure water has brought it out. I thanked her and sent money for Fanta to encourage her to send my transcript to ICES asap, they did this in february and ICES acknowledged receipt 2 days after..Woohoo. I changed my mailing address from naija to a Canny address as my body was hotting for ITA. grin,i got a cheque for a refund for $46 courier fee, cheque is still cooling in Canny till now.

I had written.my first ielts in Dec 2017 and 7.5 in listening made me retake the test immediately in Jan,this one came out alright. LRSW 8.5,9,7.5,7. My ECA was ready in March and i dived into the pool with a CRS of 440,i thought i was going to be swimming out almost immediately either by direct ITA or nomination from ontario but i got another think coming! CRS kept roving around 441,442,443. It went on like this till sept when i was about to lose points due to birthday. Somewhere along the line,in june precisely, hubby who said he wasnt interested in being a PR but would rather procure TRV for visiting, started feeling for me and asked how he could help. That's when it occurred to me to evaluate his masters. and if he also did Ielts or TEF, CRS would jump to 446. So i swung into action to evaluate his Msc,this didnt turn out well because cos even though it was a foreign school and WES would evaluate it very fast, the school said they couldnt send transcripts to a third party, that he should come to campus to pick up and send to whomever he wants. Shuoapparently people in France dont go studying abroad so frequently hence they were not used to such requests,as i could not speak french na, i had to be on hubby to follow up with them and that itself was an herculean task cos oga dey too busy .a lot of time passed and the back and forth continued,i gave up on them,by this time i has also persuaded him to write ielts, cos the next test dates for TEF was 3 months away,He had the ielts in PH,after I toasted him that PH MOD was a VIP centre. (He is crowd ~camera~ shy)luckily they were just about 15 at the test centre ;Dso my lie went undetected coolWe got 18/20 from his ielts However this wasnt going to be of any use without his ECA. One day,i decided to check our WES profile and i saw a completion date...Hurrayyy,then i looked closely and realised it was 2 days after by birthday,i would have lost 6 marks(yes at a certain age,u lose 6 marks, not 5 and d CRS calculator doesnt reflect this) Anyhoo hubby encouraged me to change back to unaccompanying and CRS cut off finally dropped to 440 on sept 5 and iTA landed. There's a myth that if uve had so much hurdles pre ITA either ielts or ECA wahala,ur app processing will be fast..i wish! Submitted in October, heaved a sigh of relief and went about my life, got request for rprf in Nov and thought my application was gonna be fast. first week in January,i decided to raise CSE to request for vO and i got the dreaded answer: ACCRA. I couldnt laugh or cry,i had been planning an april landing,i immediately readjusted my plans and mind to 2020 and went about life,i also sought and found d AVO group and joined early January, they confirmed my fears, they had not seen up to 3 PPRs from accra in 6 months. Everyone was very accomodating and were always rooting for each other,no regrets joining the group at all.I requested GCMS in March and received it early April saw RR for stat questions,Age drop btwn ITA and AOR...but i wasnt bothered about this at all.

Thereafter,AVO started raining ADRs for famous 5 in march i got my share on the 9th,submitted 12th.Another month of waiting, then the ghost update came and still nothing happened unril 10 days after.

In all I wrote Accra to find out whats up twice, the first time,i got an ADR later that day while the second time was yesterday, they never reply my mails but i usually see action thereafter,so u guys can give that a shot. One more thing,i start my letters with 'Dear Visa Officers, thank You for all the work you do' lol,i dunno if that helped.

I cannot conclude this write up without giving a big shout out to both @newmum0615 and stonecoldcafe. Both sisters heard 'wen' in my hands,i will call or write them just to rant, from waiting for ITA for 6 months,to my hubby school issues to finding out file was in Accra,i cant thank you both enough.

Before i forget,my special appreciation to the AVO group, from the admins that have to keep adding people daily,to the friends i made there @cutieplum, Obi1conte and a host of others

My Timelines are
Dec 2017 1st ielts LRWS 7.5,8,7.5,7
Jan 2018 2nd ielts LRWS 8.5,9,7,7.5
March 2018 ECA
Sept 05 2018 ITA
Oct 08 2018 AOR
Nov 7th Med passed
Nov 21 Rprf (mine)
Nov 22 FTD to Accra
March 9 ADR(famous 5)
9th May PPR

Things to note :
Schedule A- I filled my name as PA in both forms.i noticed people get confused about this whether to put spouse as PA in spouse's form or retain same

For ADR payslips/bank statement - I printed 6 months each even tho I have over 10years work experience, didn't see d need to overburden the VO with proof,I also had loans showing on my payslips.

GCMS notes showed my pension wasn't considered maybe cos it was just a buffer to d POF.

INITIAL POF - used Tbills certificate and an Investment in Leadway. Added about 3 expired Tbills certificate which I was rolling over during my 6 months wait for ITA to the LOE session.

PASSPORT PHOTOS : Scanned the photos i carry around in my wallet and uploaded for eApr

PCC : My PCC was 4 months old at eApr,i decided ro follow what was written on CiC site as per 6 months validity

MEDICALS was uneventful at childrens practice.

Thank you to everyone of u for making d wait bearable, was always looking forward to the banter here. To the people keeping the thread alive, answering questions daily,it shall never be in vain
Wishing everyone waiting at one point or the other speedy processing.

Congrats on your PPR. That's weird though. I just googled this and it brought me back to your NL postgrin. I think that might be your 10-digit UCI number, please log in to your profile to confirm. Also delete it from here.

Can you post a screenshot of the email and block out your personal details? Maybe that will help clarify things. Otherwise, you might have to contact them about this.

It’s £157.

To all those planning to take BCS with no prior knowledge in IT, this may be for you;

I am also planning to write the exam by September. We got New Horizon centre in Surulere to help us with tutorials (Since they used to be an approved centre in Nigeria before they stopped due to low turn out) Classes will start on the 8th June to August 3rd. Also there would be a 6 hours Final review class on the 7th of September.
Fee:50k (Part payment of 60% allowed to secure the spot, should you not have the full 60% now, 20 or 30% is allowed provided you pay up the remaining 30% or 40% before the classes begin). For more info, please send a PM.
Disclaimer: You are not paying to me, you will be paying directly into New Horizon school account. I have also paid mine and I have an evidence of payment and I paid for tutorial because I am not IT oriented so I need a tutor. 12 of us are on board with evidence of payment from all 12. If you are interested, please send me a PM. Thank you all.

@Prettiepearlz please can i have more info on this? I'm interested.

@Utonne congrats!

Was your birth certificate NPC issued? Was your sibling's birth certificate also NPC issued?

If the answer is no, did you submit an attestation from NPC in lieu of or to support the birth certificate?

Hi. No mine was Local Govt issued by Lagos Island while his was NPC issued. No attestation nothing. Jus submitted the certs, one & same person affidavit for exclusion of my middle name on the cert and an LOE. Hope this helps
