As per Ten Hag, I am not holding my breath. I won't be surprised if they give it to Xavi sef. That's the rumor I have been hearing since yesterday. They think that they have found their own Zidane, but everyone is not Zidane. And in addition, Zidane had several years of experience coaching junior teams before he took over Real.

Well, he might be but I just don't want him to begin his coaching career with FC Barcelona senior team. Let him start by coaching the Youth team (U19 side) …. gotta learn how to walk first before you start running.

What did he do with Jason Denayer? The Belgian is currently one of the best young centre backs in Europe, a giant in the Lyon team who coincidentally defeated Man City in the Champions league. Jason is currently valued at £40m, while Pep got him sold for just 6M.

Pep let Denayer go because he did not fit in what he wanted. Pep was not going to hold on to a talented young player and leave him on the bench. He already had the targets that suited what he wanted. Even if Denayer is worth a billion pounds, Guardiola would not sign him. So those who want Denayer can take him.

Pep inherited a squad that would have won the league if he hadn't been announced as coach. He changed the team and has done a great job in his own rights but that only makes him one of the good coaches we have in the game he doesn't stand by himself.

This is the first time we can say that Klopp is on a level playing field with the top dogs and he isn't looking bad at all.

I never ran down Klopp. He is a brilliant manager. I am intrigued by him but I will not rate him higher than Guardiola because Guardiola's teams have more synergy in play.

I am against people trying to equate Guardiola's success to money and turning down the massive tactical input and training he has put in to transform the team.

Actually, he was brought to improve players and play a certain way whilst winning. Which makes his job harder because he has to play a certain way whilst winning.

Precisely. The idea of play is way beyond Guardiola. Txiki Bergiristain was the one with the idea. Same with Ferran Soriano who is the top executive. They were brought from Barcelona to bring the philosophy to Manchester City.

You are very right that Guardiola had a tougher task at hand to win playing brilliant beautiful footie.

If VAR existed last season as well, Liverpool's first goal was off and City had 2 neat goals ruled out. Gab's goal in the first leg and Sané's goal in the second leg were legit goals that would have swung the tie.

I welcome technology into the game and with time, it will favor those who have been serially robbed for a long time. We just need to keep doing what we are doing. Playing beautifully and brilliantly. As long as we keep playing well, things will fall into place.

If Xavi comes in, expect fireworks because he is massively brilliant tactically and understands the Barcelona way.

He has mostly played for tactical geniuses and well schooled in the possession football. He grew up in the La Masia where the art of the beautiful game is put down.

Xavi might need a bit of time to steady the ship but I can guarantee we will enjoy breathtaking football if he runs the training pitch of the Barcelona team.

Inspite of having a much better league than Nigeria, the US have their team composed of mostly European based players.

Imagine, if we could lure some of our best youngsters in europe. Not just any youngster, the best of them to compliment any locally based talent.

Even if we beat this US team, many of our players will be nowhere in a few years.

I don't really rate Xavi because I feels he have no experience, but you never can tell

But has zidane coach a big team before he won 3 champions league on a roll ?

What was the so called coaches that has coached a big team doing when zidane was winning 3 champions league on a roll ?

Has guardiola coached a big team before his Barcelona success ?

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that a player on the books of Premier League champions Manchester City recently overhead Flying Eagles officials discussing about dropping players invited to the training camp who refused to grease the palms of the coaching staff.

The Flying Eagles officials talked freely despite the presence of the midfielder as they didn't know he understood vernacular perfectly because of his British accent.

The officials were arguing among themselves about the players to drop from the roster for refusing to bribe the coaches, and they called out the names of the players in that category.

Apart from the issue of bribery, on one or two occasions at a team meal in the evening, the foreign-born players were shell-shocked over the fact that the Flying Eagles coaches freely joked about the Nigerian-born players' ages.

Some of the Nigerian-born players admitted that they were playing with their 'football ages', the foreign-born players were surprised this could happen in 2019 and they should not celebrate if they win the World Cup in Poland.

The Nigerian-born players kept asking the foreign-born ones if the ages stated on their passports were their real ages which amused them.

this allnigeriasoccer site seem they have a beef with our u20 coach. this is written with so much bitterness hahahahahahahahahahaha
which kain market woman gist be this? what the heck is foreign born abi Nigerian born? Nigerian is Nigerian

Nigeria has no bussiness losing to America in any competetive tournament. Bar the women's world cup.
If we lose, something is seriously wrong.

it's okay.

what I meant was that for the club to give him the captain arm band means they regard him in high esteem...they see him as a player with so much influence and motivation both in the field and in the dressing room....

we need to start grooming coaches too...not just players...
I was happy recently when I read Osaze desire to go into coaching...and he will be starting that in Europe.

how many of our ex internationals are really good coaches...that can be recommended to European clubs.

not a bad thing we see Mikel grow to become an assistant coach in an English team someday.... he will help him stay close to his family, provide for the family after retirement and also contribute to Nigeria's progress in the future...

I see that he will be a good manager...
who says Middlesbrough won't gain promotion come next season...

I will like it if he stays there and help the team...they really respect him.

just remember John Terry who choosed to go to Aston Villa and today he is a member of their back room staff....

mikel needs to start thinking of the future...he has virtually won all competition in the English football..he is approaching the time he needs to give back to the system
We'll have a conversation with my people and see what comes up. I have a few options here and there, there's a lot of options, you always have to pick the right one and the way you play and what you want to achieve,

"I still want to win trophies, I'll go somewhere where the players, the team, the fans, the staff, want to win."

he's obviously still ambitious, I love his spirit only if other Nigerian players can think like this, ambition before money

Either way, I do not look at trophies anymore but the way the team challenges for titles. With that perspective, a lot of coaches deserve praises they do not get.

Sad I have been blocked repeatedly, I would have shown you the link where I said Zidane would be a success at Real Madrid in January, 2016 when he was to take over Real Madrid.

A player like Xavi is a player I have waited for years to coach. There are people I believe would excel as a coach even as I watch them as players. Maybe later I will try and post the link alone for you to read and see.
